Here's the bad. In the early stages of the game, you must babysit and micromanage your colony. It is very very easy to overbuild and end up in a power or food spiral. The AI seem to not have any sense of self preservation, so you will have to do it for them until you expand.

The Good. This game just scratches an itch. It's the perfect little colony sim. The buildings are satisfying, the events are chaotic but well paced. Even in late stages you can do a stupid and kill your colony. I love this game and keep returning to it often. Definitely very easy to learn but only experience will make you prosper on here.
