I would like to recommend it, because it seems great fun to play with your friends.
But it keeps on crashing. Constantly.

Well what can I say, I'm addicted to Hammer Editor.

I would really like to test it before playing it, but after the first sequence on the boat where the soldiers are talking, it ends in a black screen that doesn't do anything.

I've tried BES, I've tried removing files, nothing seems to work.
So, 90 GB on HD and can't even play more than 5 minutes. Good game.

It's great. Buy it if you're a fan of the Homeworld series or just a RTS fan.

I really want to give this a positive review.. But I just can't.
I bought this for the single player campaign.. Some aspects of it are fun, but most of it has just been frustration.

The AI knows where you are at all times, their mortars and artillery will target your troops even if they have no vision of them.
The same goes for their bombers, they will pinpoint your mortars and destroy them.
The fortifications in the maps are just too resistant to attacks, flanking a bunker should make it surrender, instead it just holds out forever.
Pak anti tank bunkers rate of fire and accurity will tear your infantry vehicles to shreds if you come in contact with them.

If you're a fan of plattform games like Super Meat Boy where a missed plattform will be your instant death, you'll love this game.
I'm not much of a plattformer person but I'll recommend it if you like plattform games.

This is the kind of game that grows on you.
At first look, I thought it was quite ♥♥♥♥, the graphics were stale, the gameplay felt lackluster and the tutorial is awful.

But the more you play, the more you learn and it starts to grow. Characters have their own needs, you will be able to vote for issues, combat uses a flanking system that works quite well.

Some things to keep in mind when starting that the tutorial doesn't really mention:
You can be outside until 8PM.
You can attack from diagonal directions with two handed weapons.
Bleeding is just a Damage over time effect.
Get a recycler asap.

The missions are beautiful, they've really improved the visuals compared to the earlier campaigns, with long trenches and and a lot of foliage. The missions themselves are quite fun to play, there's a lot of variations in them, with assaults and manning artillery, to stealth missions.

However.. The scripting is a bit buggy, one missions I was told to a stealth recon behind the enemy lines. The enemy found one of my soldiers and the alarm went off. So I killed all of the enemies, yet the scripting continued as if they were still there.

And lastly.. The voice acting. It's improved so there isn't just 1 person talking to himself and the accents aren't too much overly done. But they're still terrible. There are a lot of spelling and grammar errors and the voice actor can sometimes yell when talking to someone or be talking normally when he's supposed to yell for a retreat.

If you're a fan of the series, buy it. But expect it to have the same issues as before.
