Hello my ninjas, lets get this show on the road, this game is amazing, the graphics, how the swords clash, how the gore is on point, its great, the game can have some pretty ridiculous ways to kill someone, the sword play is great with sometimes having some stupid way of it bugging,lag is non existent for me, it feels very optimised, but on the other hand, the content is lacking, when it first came out it was exceptable, 6 maps, but a lot of weapons and skins etc, its been 3-4 months since this game came out, no map update, its taken them this long to almost finish 1 map, and be almost done on another, 2 maps, that's all, the modding community have kind of found ways to get some maps in, which is great the new update that adds the ability to download mods is great, but this game still lacks, the weapons are okay but there is kinda a need for more, the dev's take ages to make updates which is frustating, now they are a small team but this game has sold over 1mil copies, thats over 3 mil made, i'm pretty sure they could get some more dev's in to help, overall this game is great it's just slowly dying and the community can be very toxic, with people on duels littering the game, basically all servers are "Duel" even though there is a gamemode, and it can be very stressful to constantly see people doing this, i will only not recommend this game CURRENTLY because of the state it is in (as in lack of content,) but if it's on sale the 100% go for it

I'm gonna start off that this game is partially great, i've had a lot of fun these past couple days with it, the more i leveled up (which is a grind) the more i unlocked, a new faction, but then i realised, you had to PAY to craft new items?! this is an absolute money greedy disgusting game, although it is fun, its pay to win and you are limited with your options of customisation and crafting items

For a game that's been out for 8-10 years, this game is brilliant, indies were never my type of game, i love survival and zombie types. I bought it on sale when the vehicle update was released, absolutely worth it. Very good game and has a decent amount of content. I mean there can still be so much potential with this game. And that's why there is steam workshop to help. But vanilla wise its a good game but with mods it's very good. I would say get it with or for a group of friends and play then as playing on own is sometimes boring after a while depending on the scenario you do. The dev's are small (to my knowledge) and take some time to release certain updates, but some are worth it and some are kinda pointless, on the other hand this game is definitely worth it especially if you want a new game to try with friends. It has a lot you can do even for something without an end game except to die.

This game USED to be good before 1.0 hit, my friend bought me this game when it was very popular, so we played and i have an ok amount of hours. 1.0 was very bad, it came with a new map (it was ok) STILL buggy and never changed and now they changed to money greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥. And you would think the recent updates with complaints about bugs/hacks they would think "Oh, our game is trash and buggy and not optimised. Let's do something about it." NOPE they sue fortnite for "copying" them when PUBG have completely copied fortnite. The event pass, the unlock system they added and all event modes (Though they are fun.) This game has been ruined in my eyes and i can't play it again .

Very good game, solid fps for me unless i join a 190 player server, gun play is sometimes a bit off but very stable, the content, audio, graphics and everything are very good looking and sound beautiful. Still buggy but not game ruining.

This game has amazing potential, but at the moment its a big no. The devs have been working on this game since 2015 (Or even before that) Around 4 years. A very long time this game has been delayed and bugged (still bugged) i backed this game for 2 years and its ashame to see it like this. Supposed to be a hardcore survival game but it adds its own servers and ability to give players and owner items, change day, time. Obviously you have official servers as well. This game may of had a stupid release but this either should of been worked on harder or fixed bugs easier it has had a very very long time in development and in my opinion i prefered the old styled STN. I would love to see this game fixed and in its prime but at the moment this just feels like walking simulator 2017

^^ 2 years later and i checked again to see if much has changed, the player base is non-existent, only a few amount on a "high loot" server, the game has had SOME updates and not big ones that would of been expected, electricity is (to my knowledge) nothing useful, I mean whats the point in having a gas station with a nice big garage door without cars? The only thing i noticed change is that you spawn closer so its not really much of a walking simulator anymore (thank god) loot can be found on shelve's and stuff (physically) which was neat, but i noticed there was NO loot in any cabinet or storage container i found which was annoying. There still isn't much to do on this game and I'm ashamed to say this game will probably never get out of the state it is in, it's lost all of its potential and has been completely ruined.

If you're looking for a game like this check out Dead Matter, that has came along great. :)

*edit edit (2024) My friend bought this game and wanted to try it with me so after 3 years of checking the updates on this game and thought I should give it a go, to my surprise a lot has changed , UI has been updated, loot spawns physically and in storage items, level up system with skill points and skills, vehicles, a few new weapons. Really interesting stuff, the playerbase is still really low but I've been enjoying the small base building features, one thing that doesn't sit right with me is that basically all furniture is basically just there for you to dismantle and disappear, theres no moving the furniture and using it like a barricade, hopefully in future update! There is still way more to do on this but it's looking better after a few years, still problems with MP and sync issues, my base and loot disappears from time to time which isn't fun. But other than that so far its pretty positive!

Also don't check out dead matter turnt out to be a scam and was absolute garbage! :)
