The game keeps getting better and better. We waited a long time for A17, but it overhauled the game and A18 came out quicker, changing and overhauling more of the game. There is a lot more to do and a lot more options. I applaud the Pimps quick turn around and improvements.

The game is engrossing from setting to story, music to character. This is a must play for anyone that has suffered a mental condition, experienced a loss of a loved one, or anyone that wants to better understand someone with these experiences/conditions. If you play it from a striaght gamers prospective then half of the depth will be lost to you. I suggest headphones.

I bought this game some time ago and played it off an on. The survivor mode was very challenging and the attendtion to detail in regards to environment. Ex ice cracking before it breaks, wolves barking froma distance then growl as they get closed, crows flring above, wind effects.

After Hinterlands released the first two parts of the story the game was made even better with an engaging story that made you want to rush through to catch your friend, but puts you in a catch twenty two because of the environment. Some things are paced on your speed, some are paced by situations, but they did manage to keep the open story feeling by allowing you to search vast areas for extra stuff.

This is a game that is based more on story and interactions then graphics, ex borderlands, and I think the Hinterlands group did the right thing by not making the graphics the focus, but instead focusing on the playability and enjoyability of the game. I would recommend anyone that like survival games to pick up this title.
