After nearly 19 years of buying the retail version and owning this on steam many moons ago, have finally finished it.

It's a great game, even after all these years and with the updates for dual wielding and even more enemies on the screen I recommend this game. Not perfect but great.

Good game, Superb add-ons all the old dooms rolled into one package plus some new bits added. A whole lot of additional content to get your demon slayer hands around and rip and tear a chunk of your time with this game.

My (once) negative review was more about windows 11 than the actual game as running it in Linux and Steam Deck is a wholesome experience (just questionable if install Windows 11 again will I get the same error).

From my negative review "Okay Doom. It's DOOM. Negative review!!! What are you!! They gave you all these add-on's all this content, upgraded music visuals so much stuff to ram down your nostalgic throat and you gave it a NEGATIVE Review!!!!

My reason is purely this, crashing....crashing and crashing! Hit the switch for next level and a crash. Played a level (and i'm looking at you Black Tower!) crashed, even when going into the menu it crashed. Final straw was said level and actually getting to the end when....yes it crashed again.

When this gets fixed my say on the game will become a positive. It's Doom!! Whats not not to recommend (.....the crashing!)."

This is a game I never heard about and loved it ever since playing it. It's a game I can play when updating other steam games or throw a few minutes at on my steam deck when on break at work or on the sofa.

Streets of Rage 4 > Streets of Rage 2 > Streets of Rage 3 > Streets of Rage, in this order is how I sum them up from best to good.

I had my doubts when I first saw this game. The graphics I thought wasn't what or how I would have seen a new game from this series to be like. After a few videos and actually playing, my doubts were gone!
This fits perfectly into the series and a younger version of me would have played many more hours of this than I have currently played.

I only wish they add more of the boss's and enemy's from the other three games. But as it stands its one hell of a fine game to play.

Excellent retro inspired gaming fun to be had. Brings up the best of most nes, SNES games and brings them to the future.

Totally recommend!

A very engaging game with good puzzles and platform type game well worth getting.
