I'm blown away by the depth and level of interactivity in this game. I keep having to readjust my expectations of what I can do, as I'm naturally assuming I wont be able to do something that turns out to be possible! For example all the animals with speech and VOICE ACTING recorded on the off chance you cast Speak with Animals before engaging with them. Or all the dead bodies having speech options for if you cast Speak with Dead. Or the interactivity of the environs for fall damage, elemental effects etc.

This is my GOTY and I can already see myself sinking hundreds of hours into it. The replayability is enormous because there is just so much to do and many of the interactions change meaningfully between different classes, races and dialogue options. Succeeding on a check doesn't always result in the best outcome, sometimes the "Good" option actually leads to a worse outcome for all involved and I really appreciate that. It makes taking the results as they come far more palatable and I find myself accepting "failure" more than I would in other games as just part of the story and moving on despite the set back. No save scumming for me in Baldurs Gate 3!
