By this point nobody should be surprised that Hyper Light Drifter is a highly recommended game.

While its controls and handling are competent, where the game shines is it's wonderful art style meshed perfectly with one of Disasterpiece's best musical scores. Throw in the superb choice to use visual-driven narrative and the game is a perfect stylistic execution.

Will there be frustrating moments? Yes, absolutley. You'll die, curse, cry foul and throw yourself head-first back into whatever challenge you just failed. And eventually you'll overcome it and go back to ceaseless searching the environment for clues and cues. Before you realize it you'll be smiling as the music swells and crashes over you: adrift in an endless sea of the most exquisite vibes.
