Great short-ish visual novel with lots of replayability, can become a grind if you want to see all the different paths as all visual novels does.

What a fantastic idle-like game.

I've always loved the beginning of idle-games, where you seem to go fast, and your immediate actions are required.
In Ultra Savage, with active skills, the only way to progress is with you playing the game, not just closing it, and opening it every other hour - This playstyle felt much more designed for me, rather than the popular incremental games.

Very enjoyable "Where's Waldo" styled game. Some of the maps are huge and there is quite a lot to be found.

You get small hints aswell as visuals on the objectives you are to find, and from there it's just fun sounds, chill atmosphere and a great hunt.

SPOILER FREE REVIEW

Prior to purchasing this product I had only seen the anime for Danganronpa-The Animation, and not played the previous game.

Not a huge fan of Visual Novels, I was definitely intrigued by the murder-mysteries that the series provided, and heard people talking about the series not giving the cases and characters justice. So I looked towards the second game, so I could continue my journey through the Danganronpa Franchise.

PROS:
-Amazing cast, albeit that's a pretty subjective opinion the characters felt lively, strong and like they had purpose - Though they didn't interact much with eachother besides a few of them.
-Great cases , I only think 1 case was mediocre, the rest were pretty thrilling, and 2 of them were honestly very clever made.
-Great locations
-Soundtrack and voice actors that sounds amazing, and really helps bring the game and character to life.

CONS:
-If you want to achieve 100% achievements in the game, it can be bit of a needless grind.
-Some characters can really get on your nerve, for me that was until I started growing on them, but it took a lot of time for a small cast of them.
-Wished they would've expanded on the past actions of cast after the game, having seen the anime post-playing this game, I still yearned for more. You could say that this was a product done well, since it made me want more, but I digress.

OVERALL:

Danganronpa 2 is an amazing game for sure. You have to be aware that this is indeed a visual novel, that will require A LOT of reading, and smashing ENTER or spamming MOUSE1, unless you have the patience for the auto text to run it's course.

Also Nobuyo Ōyama portraying Monokuma is always hilarious, great, and amazing. Enjoy the game if you purchase it PUPUPUPU

Short but one hell of an enjoyable experience.

If you are considering this game, you probably know of Nerdooks other games, this one is very much like that, and I think that's a strong positive.

It's cheap too, give it a spin, you might like it :)

TL:DR: I would reccomend this for 10€ or less

Pros:
Fun turn based rpg
Neat art
Free 1/5 books "20% of the game" to give you a good feel of the game

Cons:
Extremely linear, small number sidequests that rewards you with more equipment
VERY short game
Bland story that reads like teen tumblr fanfic

With all that said, I loved the game mechanics and you can skip the story or click through it faster.

Try the demo, and if you liked it so much you want more, go ahead - at its current price of 17,99€ I would not reccomend it unless you loved the demo

Fun little game, a playthrough takes about 3½ hours, but the replayability is quite high.

RNG heavy game, if you do not like a lot of "rolling the dice" weighted with how many levels/points you have in a certain skill, you might not like this game.

It plays much like another game called Faster than Light "FTL", in that you explore space by travelling from point to point, and managing your ressources - If you're into FTL, try checking this game out on youtube, twitch, or maybe test it for the 2 hour you have before you refund it :)?

That being said, I liked the humor, the gameplay "especially the away missions", and the randomness added by the RNG. solid game for me :)
