About the Tiger-Fox (lore backstory):

Cavix Darkstone is a Tiger-fox, not from Earth, from a race called Vulperians are from a distant galaxy, traveling across space and going on many adventures priding on technological advancement and bio-engineering.

Originally when created, they have no set species and are featureless until they are chosen a selective DNA to start with. Gradually as they age, they can master manipulation of DNA through engineering and cognitive understanding.

Cavix (or Cavy to friends) was subjected to many tests on their home planet to serve for space exploration and observation of other life forms on different planets.
