I grew up playing the original Baldur's Gate and Tales Of The Sword Coast expansion, Icewind Dale and expansions, Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights, etc.

This game is an AWESOME sequel to the originals. It still maintained the classic feel and appearance (with some major updates of course) to the originals.

There are many many improvements on the way you walk around the world and interact with it.

The story is much more open ended. You said you wanted to help this person and set out on a quest, only to change your mind last minute and help the enemy instead? No problem! Always leaves room the next play through!

The combat system is great!

I have only put in about 16 hours so far in the past couple of days total but I am quickly becoming addicted. I am super excited for full release in August!
