Early days, but enjoying what's on offer. You need a decent rig to get the most out of it at the moment and it has issues, but there's enough here to see that it's going in the right direction. A lot of fun with friends and the EU community is pretty good and helpful.

Time for a positive review after the PSN nonsense. We all know how good this is, and if you don't, you need to.

Outstanding digital board game. Having never played the physical version before I had know idea of the mechanics at all. Tutorial was good, and after a few games it clicks in quite quickly. Deep and full of intrigue, this should be in your collection even if you're not a board game geek.

Games very good.

A lot of valid criticism from some corners of the community need addressing, but the game is good to play. There's a lot of cancerous whining from the usual parts of the gaming community. Mostly those that demand everything is tailored personally for them or it doesn't exactly meet with their own personal wishes. Take all that with a pinch of salt...

While it will always be compared to the Vermintide games it plays somewhat differently, especially on higher difficulty where your builds and play style need to be spot-on. Currently, there's a significant portion of the community that really doesn't know how to play it, or their chosen class, and in some cases are blissfully unaware of core game mechanics. Public games therefore can be a mixed bag.

Graphics, sound and IP are all excellent and I'm looking forward to see how the game progresses over time. If you enjoy co-op games then you'll enjoy this, just don't try to run before you can walk with your classes and difficulty and there's a lot of entertainment to be had.

A very enjoyable RTS with lots of layers. At the time of this review it is stil EA so will maybe a slightly different game if anyone reads this further down the line. Looking forward to where this goes and a Multiplayer option at some point would make this game even better. There's a lot going on so I would recommend watching a few tutorials, otherwise you'll feel a little lost at first, but when you get the flow of the game it becomes very addictive. Fans of Dune should love it, with a nice visuals and a great score.

Anyone into TB strategy games probably already own this, but for those that fancy dipping their toes into the Battle Brothers universe let me be clear...

This game is hard. Really brutally hard.

If you get triggered by hit percentages in other games I'd stay away. Not because there's any unfairness, just because the consequences of bad luck can be catastrophic. The negative reviews for this game are nearly always related to hit percentages or the difficulty. Bear all this in mind.

If you still fancy the game then you're in for a treat. Easily one of the best mercenary sandboxes ever made. I keep coming back after the game breaks me, and I can't say that happens very often for any other game.

Be prepared to fail, but be prepared to enjoy the journey towards that inevitable massive failure.

A very good 40k adaption. Looks nice, sounds nice, and plays very well. Looking forward to new factions/DLC and where this game heads in the future.

It's a great little game that is getting better with time. The devs are very dedicated and are constantly improving the game. If you like Eurotruck or similar games then this game will appeal. It's not easy and the skill factor is a lot more demanding than driving a truck or delivering in Elite. But it pays off with an engaging control mechanism and decent visuals after the last update. Not for everyone, but 'sim' games have always been niche.

It's 40k Mordheim with extra bells and whistles. Looks and sounds nice. A few teething troubles but will be patched. If you enjoyed Mordheim you'll like this. If you haven't played the former game, then it's unique gameplay style for a TBS may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me it works well.

Looking forward to DLC and new gangs in the future.

EDIT:

The game really needs a basic overhaul that will never come. Gangs far too similar. So strange that the devs made a great game in Mordheim but manged to mess up so bad with this one. Honestly, if they'd have just re-skinned Mordheim in a 40k theme it would have been infinitely better than this.

Let me start this review by saying that I'm a Rugby League nut. All my life. I've played all the previous RL management games and enjoyed them. I recently decided to purchase as it had a tempting discount and installed it asap. Initial thoughts was that it was miles better in presentation and depth than the previous games and I was looking forward to getting my teeth into it.

Side picked, training staff sorted, training sorted, team picked, moves selcted, and onto the first pre-season match.

That's where it all went wrong.

The 3d match had no sound. Tried all options, to no avail. Okay, I can live with that. A few minutes into the janky animated match and my number 9 made a break from his own 10m line. Even though he was as slow as a dead snail he went 90m to score because not one of the opposition chased back. Not one. After watching passes defy physics for the rest of the first half, the second half kicked off with both sides in a random huddle for nearly 10 minutes of in game time, apparently locked into position like they'd been hit with a freeze ray. Suddenly, they went back at it, but for some reason the opposition had snuck on another 2 points during the game of statues. Eventually the game ended, and I was looking through the stats and noticed that my super slow number 9 had a stand-out performance. I think his Mum must have been doing the stats as he had notched-up 36 tackle busts, only 9 tackles, but had somehow run for 1023m!!!! He is the RL Forest Gump.

It pains me to write down a game about a sport that I truly love, but I simply can't recommend it in this state.
