This is a superb and fairly realistic FPS. There are some small glitches here and there but mainly it runs very well. Good frame rates, decent graphics. This has to be my current favorite FPS. When you get in a good group that works well together, communicating, covering sectors, laying down suppresive fire so others can move....it is absolutely unparalled. Even when people are John Wayne-ing, it is still pretty awesome. GET IT NOW!!

I wanted to like this game but it lacks any sort of depth. Also, unlike previous games, loadouts are character specific. If you are not able to get to the one you want first in multiplayer, you are just out of luck. Matchmaking is spotty at best and you can spend a very long time trying to get into a game. And when you do manage to get into a game, it is completely random as to what type of game you will be placed into. I do like the concept of blowing through walls and floors. It is the one original bright spot in this game. I think that they did improve rapelling a bit as well. However, overall, this game is not worth the money.

The story is interesting but I don't think you can really call this a game. It is more like an interactive story. To top it off, it is an incomplete story and there is no clue when the rest of it will be completed. I had thought it would have been more like one of the previous three boarderlands installments, but it is not even close. The story is compelling and would have made a great plot for a game in a setting that is well liked and appreciated.
