Papers, Please might be one of the finest video games in recent memory.

The storyline is tense, drudgerous and hilariously satirizes the bleak and fatalistic Eastern European communist mindset. Brothel owners, killers, peasants and idiots come through your line, each with their own ridiculous story to tell, but all you want to do is do your work and go home and hopefully have enough money to keep the heat on.

Can't fault a .74c game too much. It's nice and pretty and the techno background music is fun, but the game is just rather monotonous to me and I don't really see a fix for it. I shelved it after 20 minutes, but don't feel ripped off by any stretch of the imagination. Definitely worth a purchase if puzzle games are more your deal than for me.
