This is the best space simulator I've EVER tried. It even breaks X-Wing Alliance off.
It's flying in space with the same kind of physical realism you know from sims like MS Flight Sim and other heavily realism-oriented games.
You can do whatever you want. Start a war with a entire system. Make yourself rích by mining. Find luxurious trade-routes. Live by your guns - yes, you name it.
You can soar over the surface of any planet you encounter, and even land in cities on them. You have an entire quadrant of space ahead of you, some systems are hostile, some aren't. Some have riches, others have rebels hiding behind every asteroid you try to mine. Your options are what you make them to be in this game.

It's a truely amazing space sim.

Just remember to make your graphics card apply anti aliasing and ansitropic filtering to the game's .exe file - or it looks like som kind of 90's game. But it IS quite beautiful if these measures are met. And a good solid joystick wouldn't hurt either...
