This game is absurdly imbalanced and an extreme example of pay to win. You only win in this game by spending money, strategy is secondary. The imbalance is mindblowing and shows that the devs care nothing for actual gameplay, and just try to get you to spend as much as possible so you can get insanely overpowered mercs. Plus, whichever player goes first has a ridiculous advantage, and the devs do nothing to help balance that by giving some sort of benefit to the player that goes second. Great entry from a new developer! Has all of the classic elements from games like D2 that have been dearly missed and somehow forgotten by big companies like Blizzard.

This is a good game with pretty decent card acquisition. Game play is quite fun and tactical. Way, way better than Marvel Snap, which has too much RNG

People are complaining about the "p2w", but that's how card games work. Could the rewards be a bit better for new players? Sure. Do they need a starter bundle that's cheap and helps get new players going? Absolutely. Bu the game is fun, the art is amazing, and the gameplay itself is really good.

Game is rough for new players. I've been playing about a month and a half and I've spent about $300 and I still don't have many of the cards I need to compete at the higher levels. All of the counter cards I need to compete against the meta decks still haven't been unlocked for me: Debri, Luke Cage, Mystique, Patriot, etc. The game gives you a pathetic amount of resources with each match, creating an unbearable grind that feels like you're going nowhere. Add in the high levels of RNG with the locations and card draw, plus the best cards locked behind an expensive paywall, and you get a very poor experience for new players. I'm sure it's fun when you've got all of the cards (or even most), but the game is extremely frustrating for newer players, which probably explains their player base continuing to drop.

This game is great. The movement system, the card combos, the combat, all of it. The only real complaints is lack of a save system during missions, and that it needs more content (especially more game modes). I'm assuming both of these will be addressed relatively soon. I'd love to see an open adventure mode where you can just move around the map, completing objectives, and battling enemies without any sort of time limit.

Too many haters are angry just because "it's not XCom 3" or because "I don't like cards". The game is great so far. Fun tactical battles with cool effects. And if you're a fan of card driven mechanics, like I am, it's even more fun

How is this game not getting more attention? Is it just a lack of advertising? I play a ton of deckbuilders and somehow I just became aware of this after it's been out a year, which is strange. It's a great roguelite deckbuilder. One of the better ones out there (and I've played most). This game really needs more attention, people are missing out.

Solid deck builder with some great innovations! Combat feels different than most games in the genre and you definitely need to think about what you're doing! One of the best games in this genre out there!
