I've been with this game a bit more than a year now, and I can say it is extremely good and enjoyable.

It's quite deep with its mechanics and what there is to learn, but at the same time it's not too hard to get into.
I say this as someone who's not extremely experienced with these games, but also not a total beginner.

And if you ever would need help with something, the community or even the developers, are active and very helpful in the discussion tab, so you should be able to get the help you need with almost any issue. Though this is based on a very small amount of interraction I've personally needed.

Now, if you pick up this game right now, and you are like me, it should last you for a few hundred hours.
It does at one point become repetitive, and if that happens you might have to step away for some months.
This is because there aren't very many updates per year, but they are (most of the time) impactful enough to give another couple dozen hours in the game. For me at least.

Some people have also reported stability and/or framerate issues.
They do try to work on this, though, and will hopefully be fixed for everyone in the near future.

Lastly, it will take quite a long time, probably a few years, before this game is fully finished.

These are some of the things to be aware of if you're thinking about buying it.
