Yippee Ki Yay Mr Falcon youtube video of this game got me to buy this game.

A great game, 2,4h of gameplay, on one sitting, with all achievements.
I don't think it has any replayability, despite a bit of choices you can make that change few encounters.
Encounters are semi-random, but you follow a linear story, two of them actually.

And the DLC is pretty funny addition too :P

The beginning of the game is pretty awesome. You fly your ship, explore, everything is new and fancy.
Though, even with new powers and weapons, I felt the game was lacking some additional RPG elements to be a bit more satisfying. What you do in the first zone is awesome, but the further it goes, more dull it becomes.
There is no unnecessary grind or anything of the like, but you do get random missions, yet they are all the same and all reward you with 1250 credits.
Side quests and main missions are also awefully similiar, even though you can see the devs did try to make some of them a bit different.

Still, core gameplay is fun enough to play, story is interesting and handling of the ship is pretty good. At first it is all about the guns, after a while and near the end, it is all about the powers, so at least that refreshes the combat aspect a bit.

Pretty cool. Though it lacks in content and should be called technical demo. I expect it to be a while before we see finished product, but than again, the premise is good and it can actually be something awesome if enough time is put in it.
BTW you can't win the last battle, it goes on infinite or at very least into far too impossible (that includes the 10 waves achievement).

Unless you type All Key Shop in google, it is an agregator that finds where a game can be bought. Not a shop itself.

But that aside, the game is one of the best... Final Fantasy games made by Square. And they know it, so they remastered it. On the consoles. So... you could pimp up the graphics like the screen below in PC already. The fix for them was simple - remove the game from the store.

It's long, difficult enough (can actually make you stuck for good if you are not careful!) and since it's on Unreal 3 - it is very compatible with everything.
The mechanics are not easy from the get go, but there are many tutorials on what to do to evolve your characters (and there are TONS, I specifically don't use main NPCs too much).
There is also a single line in the config in main documents (have to run the game 1 time first) where you can enable equiping NPCs with whatever (compatible!) weapons you want. Normally they would just upgrade their original kit.
The game is long. 98 hours, a 3 or 4 attempts, never finished. Now gonna try it yet again.
I higly suggest you get it, but the key prices went up sadly with them beeing less available with time.

Do not expect a remaster on PC. The game is abandoned right now.

As I liked EYE: Divine Cybermancy, this is IT on steroids AND in WH:40K world.
It is much more polished though and a little bit more streamlined and easier to work with.
It adds random loot and weapon modifications, better and way bigger maps that you can later use to play random missions. It looks pretty good too. Sadly it does not have multiplayer, but overal I highly recommend it!

Oh, and hard is hard :) Those guys still know what challange means!

A cool game with interesting mechanics, but while it increased it's content in a creative way, that has a few drawbacks.
Yes, there are many levels, but they are technically reskins. You can join them up, always more variety!
The same sadly goes for skills, they are all spells made with hands, similiar color schemes, no different models, but spread patterns, bullet speed and range.

The only terrible thing is how models other than level geometry treats the player. You have that "sliding" effect and can be moved into a spot that is hard to get out off, it killed a run for me once, as it put me into poison, in this place (the walkways behave like turbo-ice):

But that would be all. Replaying 5 levels and following a story as you go on. So far I did not finish the game, but I like the idea it allows you to play a roguelike, continue a longer story and yet still allow for short bursts of gameplay for when you have the time.

Oh, and the speed. Speed is awesome, hope more games do it like that! And you can upgrade it to boot, nice.

I played the demo ways back and it seems they improved the game quite a bit, but made it a lot slower.
I wish getting the currency was less tedious, but other than that, I think this is (will be?) best colony building game there is.
I have not encountered any bugs that other write about.

An awesome game, with multitude of characters (DLC really adds tons of hours here!).
While it is difficult and some classes are harder then the others, I still haven't beat the game once or played each of the characters (with only 1 more to unlock I guess?)

So TL;DR - Hell yeah, buy it!

A very quiet launch of a game that has been in the making for many, many years, almost thought it will never come at all.
It is very obvious, that the developers wanted to do much more, but lacked the necessary funding. This seems to be a passion project to create a sequel to a very underrated but in my opinion one of the best UFO inspired games out there.

The game is about it's mechanics. You research stuff but are somewhat in the dark, there are no voice lines, no story explaning things or giving you a sense of directions. Just the mechanics that construct a very fun base that continues to evolve. It is better optimized and has better graphics than UFO: Extraterrestrials Gold.
The lack of certain features may be attributed to the fact that you need to research literally everything.
Leveling up units helps, but leveling up research is even more fun.

I still have to clock in more hours, but it is an impressive project completed by a small team of people with passion, game devs and modders (Bman!).

The price is half of an AAA game. Is this worth it? I think so. Certainly more so than some AAA titles. True - it lacks the polish and has rough edges, but the core game mechanics will keep you glued to the screen, untill you forget such silliness as "story" or "voiceovers". You make the story. You control the struggle. Don't need the speaches that would only get boring with time, especially on repeated playthroughs. No BS kind of approach. Just jump in and have fun. Didn't even need a tutorial, the UI is intuitive and simple.

I obviously can't give a score till I finish the game, but I can really recommend this one without any doubts about it. So far no bugs, fingers crossed it stays that way :)

This is a very simple, yet entertaining - if not addictive - game.
You basicly clear a level/planet with your drill by drilling the core at the bottom and collect goodies and blocks along the way, unlocking HQ rooms, characters and upgrading your gear.
While very repetetive AND without a clear end game at all, it is worth getting, especially if it ever goes on sale.

It's a fun simplistic game that you can spend half an hour on or several hours if you don't feel like playing something "heavy", just chill with a beer (or 12).
