After adjusting to the learning curve and ton's of trial and error finally made it to Kerbin's moon "Mun" Orbit!
Lander was badly damaged on landing but I planted my first flag off world!
Waited for the right moment to lift off to rendezvous with the return vehicle and ran out of fuel!
IVA with my kerbal and leaped away using RCS jet pack to escape orbit as my lander crashed bellow!
Used my AI controlled return vehicle to rendezvous with my kerbal before he is smashes back into the "Mun"!
Rescue successful and mission complete returned back to the space center on Kerbin with my kerbal alive!

99/10 would go on epic mission's with poorly designed space craft again and again!
