First, thank you so much for giving me your opinion about the Mod's contents.
Yes, it is quite unrealistic to say meat and fish fillet does not rot 'eternally' only because it is salted once. I know they will eventually become something inedible of course.
However, the reason - although I know no foods are eternal - of my setting is that 'there is already an eternal foods in original game: Berry Sludge.' The main purpose of my mod is not to interrogate the scientific reality of this game but to expand options for players. I believe I did not try to question or to criticize the physics of this game; I really love this game and play it with admiration. I always get surprised how KLEI people fitly modify and apply real-world's physics to this game.
Still, I am happy with your comment and try to remember it when I make other Mods in future.

1. Right click on Dota inside of steam
2. Click on properties
3. Inside launch options (general tab), you can write this.
