The learning curve is just a little rough but after that, this game is a blast to play and it has AAA Cinematics. I just cannot get enough an hope we will get seasons to play for years!

Pretty realistic in most spots. inspect a TP roll to see what I mean. I never really considered Half life a Horror and Zombie genre game, Granted there are zombies, but the story has less to do with zombies than it does an alien invasion where some of the alien creatures can make zombies. Also, more action than horror. Yet, Half Life Alyx has changed that impression, Some how the Electrical Dogs (if you've played you know what I mean) tend to bring the Zombie aspect to the forefront, and having a headcrab jump at you in VR is definitely HORROR! Though it does have some stuttering issues in some areas even on high end machines, I can make it 90 minutes without puking. I tend to keep my sessions to one hour, and can almost clear a level at a time, I love this game!

I have an i7, gtx 1070, and 32gb ram running 64bit windows10. This game will not run and always crashes upon spawning in a match, sometimes steam crashes with it. None of the fixes work and most are outdated and\or bogus like hacking 32bit windows to see more than 4gb ram or turn off steam cloud service, or even disable cheats imo I've never used any. I don't even overclock. Mind you this isn't the only game that is broken in 2022.. The only playable modern multiplayer game I have is Fortnite and that puke sux.

Absolutely love it! The only weak part is the plastic springs behind the shoulder buttons. After about 10000 clicks it will break, but it is easily and cheaply replaced with a bit of steel ribbon that will never fail. This controller's favorite food is rechargeable AA batteries.
