Do you like gamebreaking bugs? Well have I got a game for you. OwlCat said they learned from their mistakes with Kingmaker, I guess what they learned was that they can release a half finished game and just let us beta test it.

Avoid this game for a few months until they've got the Crusade Mechanic fixed. Otherwise you're going to suffer morale penalties for armies that don't even exist yet.

Also some battles and characters get bugged, one of my characters has been stuck in a painting animation, it's the idle animation for the character, and can't fight or heal.

If you win one of the crusader battles too quickly, the game crashes. Super exciting.

(Rule of thumb for the developers, if you're going to inflict a stupid mechanic on your players, at least make sure that it works)


Update: Issues are more or less fixed.

This looks to be a remake of an old game called "Balance of power" and it does it well, updated graphics and new mechanics make it interesting for a bit, however it can get repetitive very quickly.

Very enjoyable if a bit buggy, it has a unique charm and fun mechanics

Played a psychotic Russian Scientist with a penchant for Tesla cannoning things.

Made an Alchemist cry and reconsider his life choices.

Had a blast doing it.


Honestly, It's been one of the better purchases I've made. Enough so that I'm sitting here writing a review for it (Which is my first)

I would say give this game a try. You won't regret it.
