So far I have only played as Team Sauber in career mode, but I can already tell this game is one of the best of this series. Here is a list of aspects that have been improved:

+ Handling is more realistic now. Riding the curbs will unbalance your car. Especially some inside curbs will make you spin out if you hit them in a wrong way.
+ You have control over ERS, which makes it a far more tactical race.
+ AI is slightly better, more aggressive. Sure people have complained about the AI rear-ending them, which does happen from time to time, but allways remember, it takes two to crash.
+ The team mate is more competitive, maybe it because my team mate is Leclerc and he is really good in real life, but he is also keeping up with me in game, even beating me on some tracks.
+ The techtree is a bit more detailed than before. Also the prices for upgrades have been decreased, meaning it is a faster paced upgrade race now, which is good, the old one was way to slow.
+ Practice sessions are less of a grind now. You still have the old practice programs + a new one. But the way the resource points are allocated now means you don't have to do them all, you will stay competitive by only doing 2-4 of them.
+ Contract negotiation is far more detailed now. You can customise all kinds of benefits and goals to reach. It is an actual negotiation and not just a take it or leave it kind of deal.
+ Interviews are back! Depending on what you say you will influence what your team will do for you.
+ You can choose your own rivals, meaning you don't get stuck with unrealistic rivals after a few good initial race anymore.
+ You can finally skip the special event races, if you don't feel like doing them all.
+ I have less FPS issues compared to the last game. So far it runs pretty smooth.

+- Cut scenes are mostly gone, instead you simply hear your team talking to you, which means you don't have to wait for the conversation to end to do stuff.

- On 50% race distance, you mostly do 1 stop races, which I know is realistic, because Pirelli didn't do their job as they were supposed to. But I just wish there was a setting for tyre wear, so you could have 2-3 stop races on any race distance.
- Gearbox and engine wear is too slow. I havn't done any durability upgrades and I am doing just fine. The last game had the same issue, there is little to no incentive into buying those upgrades.

Overall there aren't many faults with the game. It is up to you to decide if it is worth all that money, but one thing is certain, it is better than the last one, which itself wasn't too bad. I feel the last 3 games of this series have shown a steady improvement. Lets hope it continues.
