Rafters Aka DarkCoffee

DarkCoffee was an atomic physicist from a dieing world. To escape his planets destruction and a lengthy trip across the stars, he designed an Earth bound starship to keep himself in deep stasis in a virtual world, providing him with life experiences and education.

While attempting to save his cat Ted from the newly formed Great Pacific Garbage Patch, DarkCoffee is severely wounded by plastic bottle caps fired from Mutated Turtle's cursed handguns. Despite being saved by Doctor Ned, DarkCoffee comments that his near-death experience has shown him that he needs to make more personal connections outside of the superhero community, and stop buying plastic products.

Having been raised by the virtual world with artificial Kryptonian life experiences, DarkCoffee finds it difficult to adapt to life on Earth.
