So far, so better than everything else...

They have some work still to do, but it's a very solid game.
I love the extra difficulty on bosses and mobs....mobs are easily handled if you aren't an artard, bosses need some thought put into them.

More fine tuning needs to be done, specifically on early levels of the game for different and more difficult class type progression, as well as drops for tuning your character (not gear) and gold, but other than that...pretty solid.
Story is fantastic so far.
I will update later, but so far this is a decent to solid thumbs up.
I give it a 7.8 for now (In comparison, POE1 a 8.0, diablo 2 is an 8.4, D3 a 7.2, D4 a 6.5, Titan a 7.6, and Grim dawn a 9.1).

This is the best Turn-based/hybrid rpg I have ever had the pleasure of playing (No straight up rpg/jrpg however)
It is a unique and new style that pays tribute to the old, and infuses new and great things for the new (so to say), but it is the best RPG I've played since maybe DQ11 or Suikoden 5.

I'll spare a monologue...play this game. You will only regret the emptiness you feel in your soul, after you have played it twice with NG+

I can see how some people would find this game overwhelming and tedious.
However, if you LOVE Metroidvania games, this is phenomenal.
The story, you have to read and pay attention, because it is fantastic if you do so.
The game play is fantastic, challenging at times, easy at times, but lots of options.

The map is massive...so MASSIVE, and travel is not friendly initially. However, after you get about 5 or so hours in, you can purchase a specific item to help you make it WAY Easier...and it's not that expensive tbh.

Weapons are awesome, all of them have viability and definitely play of certain playstyle preference.
Magic is hit or miss, but I will say they need to adjust that portion if they make another game. The "Buff/debuff" items are trash and if you don't find continual magical "Items" they lose their worth quickly. So some adjustment and advise on that.

It's a hunt for loot and story Metroidian, but absolutely fantastic!

A very enjoyable throw back to the time when Jrpg's and turn-based rpg's were amazing. This game is no less amazing. Great soundtrack, great combat, great characters, great story, tons of things to do on the side that are actually very fun.

Started playing again...this game is just that good. I wish it was available on more platforms for some local co-op action.
IMO the greatest ARPG ever.

This hands down has to be one of the greatest games ever made.
It can be very challenging at times, especially some of the boss battles.
