1. Save 10 liquor for a perk you will need later2. If you get a gun drop called "Equaliizer" save it for a perk later3. Save 12 solar panels for a perk you will need later

I read some advice early on and it's proven very effective, so I'm going to share it: Once you get to level 5 - pick the perk for Adam of "Defensive Masacre" - this instantly triggers shield recharge. Combing this perk with a "Shield ST" completely negates the Recharge Delay and the ST variant has incredible Recharge speeds - So prioritize these types of shields and when in battle, provided you keep killing things, your shields should always be recharging!
