So this game was looking pretty sweet, watched some YT videos, watched some streamers. Looked promising.

Decided to buy it and give it a shot. Play with a buddy of mine.

The game itself isn't bad, but the load times are quite long. Recommend putting this on a SSD or a m.2 drive.

When the game works, it isn't bad.
Then the real problem happens.

So as I was watching one streamer. He came across a hacker. I thought...slim chances of it happening.
WRONG.
Much like the last Creytek game I played (Crisis 2 I believe, ya ya, been a while). hackers day one. Every other round was someone with invul or aimbot.

2.1 hours in. Hope I can get my refund back.

Sucks more is that since you don't know who you're playing against, you can't report.

Wait until some more updates come out and the game goes on sale. Shows promise, but not now. Not at all.

As of memorial day weekend 2017. Servers are non existent.

I was giving this key to test out and stream.

This game is totally a good bang for the buck. Especially if you dig 4 player action.

Great couch game with your friends on a big screen.

Creators plan to add more to the game such as actual online MP. Only downfall to the game is lack of OLMP, but if it does well, they plan to add it in.

I literally have no issues at all with this game.

It's hectic, fun, funny, fast paced and exciting.

If you have the 10$~ or so, I say go ahead and splurge! If you dont like it, well, good thing for the Steam refund policy.

Game has very good potential and I like it so far.

There are a few things that need to be changed like, more clear quest objectives or where/how to find such items or locations. Do you need joy to find it or don't you?

Quest trackers need to actually track.

Granted, this game is still an alpha and it's still pretty fluid.



Beginning town of the game needs to be sped up a little bit to help find that lull in the beginning.

Curious to see all 3 story lines though for sure.


Game has crafting, survival aspects (food, water, exhaustion), feels like a mix of Fallout, Skyrim and Theif.

Some things are a bit tedious, but for 30$, you can't complain too much for how much has been done.

Sadly though, after 12 hours of game time. The game is just randomly shutting down on it's own. So I guess I'm down and out until a patch or a way to fix. If anyone know hows to fix, please lmk!

Besides that only real issue, I still recommend it.

tl;dr version: Great game, feels like Mass Effect, FF8 (seed money system almost), Fallout, God of War/Devil May cry combat.

Regular version:
This game is great. From watching the trailers and reading up on it, it looked amazing.

If you're a big fan of Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Fallout style of games with a DMC/GoW/Dark Souls fighting style, then this is the game for you.


-Game isn't the standard rip off 60$
-Graphics are amazing
-The starting city is amazing
-Three different stances when fighting and they look amazing, especially when you imbue your weapons with the techomancy powers.
-Multiple skill tree, stats, and talents to choose from


Combat is actually quite difficult to get into, it will sometimes kick your butt and feel like you're being trained in Dark Souls. I've been stun locked by the AI before.

I enjoy the inventory, crafting and companion systems. Very easy to work with.

Also have reputation and karma. When you fight a humanoid and "Kill" them, they aren't dead unless it's something story specific or you Kill them via draining their serum*.


Con:
Currently only one is that if you go up to a body. Q is to kill/drain serum and E is to loot, but if there is no loot and you're trying to keep your karma up, Q turned into E and you can't back out of the animation. Only gripe.





*= This oddly reminds me of some movie to where they drained something out of humans, but I don't remember what movie it was. I believe it was an older style film.


IT WAS TANK GIRL!

Game is out and I can finally review this.

I was in the beta for this for a while and streamed a bit of it at twitch.tv/travis440. Can possibly see it in some past broadcast.

Game is fun and has a great story line. Three factions currently with a fourth one coming out.

Like in good ol Warhammer fashion, it's just pure badassery!

Pros:
Amazing Graphics
Great designs
Different Tactic options
Ship level up system (sort of)
Warhammer!


Cons:
May be difficult to get into
Don't think it'll run too great on lower end comps

This game is pretty amazing. Rail/Beach Defender games have come a long way. Totally blows those games out of the water with this one.

All for 8$ too and you get lot of gameplay out if it.
Different maps, mods, new maps coming out and etc.

The graphics are pretty amazing
I like the skill tree setup, 4 trees (stays with you through out the game it seems)
Pure chaos!
Great game too after a stressful day or if you want to slay hadjis when you can't do it in real life due to strict military recruiting standards for health.

M60 with explosive rounds
Care drops (rockets or health)
Infantry (seems to be no max on amount of infantry you can have as backup)
Artillery Strikes
F18 airstrikes
Apache gunships

My only dislike is the lack of coop play. Maybe in a future update? It would ge great to partner up with a friend and cover sectors and flanks.

This is definitely a game I shall play more off and can't wait to stream.

Nothing beats puting on my tac gear, getting drunk and shooting some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hadjis in the face!

Never not spam 2 for more Infantry.

Would and will 'MURICA! again!

Do you have 20$ for a great indy game made by a staff of eleven people?
Do you love the 80s? Do you love sarcastic humour, great narrative and 80s references?

Then get this game.

Yes it may be a short game (<8hours depending on player), but it's a beautiful game with a great soundtrack, nice story and awesome voice acting.

This game has had me laughing more than any Borderlands game out there.

Adventure, seriousness, amazing music, chill for the most part and comical.

10 out of 10 from me.
Highly recommend.

This game has some promise, but it's going to be in a distant future.

If you already have Arma 2 (Overwatch/Epoch) and Arma 3. Then this game will just be a waste of 40$ for you. It's pretty much the same thing, but in a currently worse state (Early Access, remember that.)

There are several issues with the game itself running too as well that the devs are aware of and aren't currently fixable. Luckily steam refund will have you covered on that if it does happen.

Weapon selection is bare bones, people will trap you in a base somewhere usually, this is a game you almost must play with friends. For some reason your guy puts his weapon to safe when putting away a weapon which is a joke. Have these guys ever been in a deployed enviroment? You never put any of your guns on safe when you're out on patrol or in an active warzone with enemies all around you. *swap to pistol, puts M4 on safe and puts away, brings out pistol, disengages safe, ready to fire, you're already dead*

Tool animations are way to long, IE: throwing grenades, smokes, weapon transitions, reloads.
US side are supposed to be trained warriors, yet they aren't. Just as bad as the middle eastern side.

Other side though, the graphics are great, it feels fluid and as I said above, shows promise in the distant future.


I do not recommend this game in it's current state. I have already refunded it. Overly hyped. Arma 2 with all DLC is way cheaper (plus on G2A) and has a huge modding community.

Only 15.4 hours on record at the time of this due to busy with other games, but this game is definitely a blast. It's my "get away/relax" game.

Graphics are beautiful, great future concept and lots of great tools to use. A lot better than the lastest Sim City (imo) and beats out Cities Skylines. I thoroughly enjoyed Cities Skylines, but lean more towards Anno 2205 due to me liking more sci-fi.

You also have NPC missions per say that reward you with cash, upgrades, resources and misc other goodies.

The combat missions are okay. I think they are just something to kill time and help a bit more with resource gathering. Also good to do them if you are short some funds and just don't want to idle by until they go up. Knock out a few of these missions to pass the time.

Plus the app you can download on your smart phone is pretty sweet. Great way to get some harder to get resources while out and about.

Would and do recommend this game if you enjoy city builders.
