Having played 30 hours on the game now ( it’s 2021 I know those are rookie hours ) I can say the amount of genuine experiences you get are slim to none versus the amount of trolls, server followers and griefers you run into, and when I say griefer I’m talking about the people that have logged over 1-2000 hours on the game and just ride around spawn areas on a horse with a spear just to kill fresh spawns for literally no reason. With that being said the game was rather frustrating the first few hours but once I got the hang of it, learning through trial and error I can say that I will likely log hundreds of more hours on the game. The game is loads of fun even with the annoying server followers and griefers. I just wish there where more genuine experiences, maybe I’m playing on the wrong servers. But with that being said I would definitely recommend rust in 2021.
