I wanted to love this game, as it was created by one of my all time favorite game producers; And for the first two thirds of the game i did. The music, atmosphere, familiar feeling of the little nightmares styled gameplay..

But then it felt like the game got confused about what it wanted to be, the whole war implementation was risky but at first seemed to work fine with me. I love weapons and history so thought this might actually work well.
I was wrong. First of all the games narrative seemed to get lost in itself and it felt like it shoved the whole actual plot aside just to put the focus on the whole war-like feel Tarsier appeared to be going for here.

Secondly, the weapons themselves seem to be either fictional versions inspired by real life counterparts, and in some cases just be real weapons from differing time periods mixed in there. This just ruins the whole immersion if there even was any left by this point. Was actually very happy with the game until the whole war-feverdream came into frame.

As someone who absolutely adores little nightmares 1-2 and was looking forward to this darker, gorier approach to it; I am disappointed. Still cant judge it all too harshly as i did enjoy the first parts of the game.

Bootleg Ready or Not

There is a lot to be said about this game, for starters it used to look much better (graphics wise) but got nerfed by the devs for whatever reason. There is also a lot of different bugs to be found in the game such as both the player and smaller items glitching through the ground at times.

The sun never goes down even though there is supposed to be a time based system, the skill tree barely works and requires xp purchases for abilities that in a few cases the player already has, the memory game at the carnival reacts as if you have lost the game whenever you win even if that be in a short time period.

Whoever wrote the text for this game seems to barely know how to spell considering there are multiple typos spread throughout the game which seems rather embarassing no matter if the game is listed as early access.

This idea for a "storage wars grind esc game" seems very fun but the execution sadly was not.

To wrap it up, buy the game if you do not really care for these issues.

My pc cant run it but Half Life is goated so naturally its a 10/10

Saw a few playthroughs of this back in 2017 and found the game interesting, bought it now that i have a good computer and even with the spoilers i knew of, its a great game.

Havent been attracted by any other survival games that much but this one has had me hooked for the last two weeks. The game doesnt force you to do specific things or develop through the story but youll still have to if you want any actual good weapons/tools.

Fairly easy once youve gotten yourself some cave loot and built a solid base. The only downside is that once you have been in all caves, completed the story, gotten the artifact ball and built a good base theres not much else to do except for build new things or farm for different items.

Overall a great game, would definitely recommend it.

Do you want HOI but dont have the money? Short answer: Dont play this.

The devs are lazy as hell, ai generated imagery is covered all throughout the games content, each update renews the "pay to win" aspect of the game for the worse and introduces yet another unit for you to waste your money on.

The gameplay itself is fine, in my opinion even addictive at times, however the dedication and time it takes for you to win a single game that usually lasts for up to A MONTH (depending on the gamemode) is simply not worth the bother.

I personally got stressed enough with the game that i ended up deleting my account. Overall i really just cant recommend this to anyone who actually cares about the quality of the content they consume. Great game 10/10
