Simple but addictive. Would be much better with a wireless headset, but it's still a lot of fun even wired.

I love this game. I was looking for something like the old F-Zeroes on the PC, and it definitely fills that void. The tracks are wonderfully busy and really give you a sense of speed. The worlds are all colorful and different. I don't really see myself ever getting sick of this game.

I really enjoyed the game as it is, but if I were to criticize, the things I wish were slightly different are:

- Powerups are pretty unbalanced. In most cases, I feel you really want to use the speed-related ones. Some of the others have their uses for certain types of events, but many of them just never get used.

- There are many times where I feel the best "line" to take involes touching the wall. I kind of wished it punished hitting the walls more. Not in terms of damage taken, but it terms of slowing you down. Then again, I don't really know how some of the Neptune tracks would be doable quickly without some serious wall-grinding...

(I really enjoyed the Neptune DLC too BTW)
