Papers, Please ist weit mehr als ein Grenzkontrollsimulator. Es ist ein atmosphärisches, tiefgründiges und emotional herausforderndes Spiel, das den Spieler dazu zwingt, sich mit Themen wie Bürokratie, Macht und Moral auseinanderzusetzen. Es mag auf den ersten Blick schlicht wirken, doch das Spiel zieht einen schnell in seinen Bann und lässt einen so schnell nicht los. Für Spieler, die nach etwas anderem suchen und bereit sind, sich auf ein intensives Spielerlebnis einzulassen, ist Papers, Please definitiv zu empfehlen.

Die neue Spiel-Engine ist super und befördert das Spiel technisch auf ein neues Level. Durch die Community und Erweiterbarkeit mithilfe von Mods und DLCs ist es hoch flexible und anpassbar. Der Spielspaß lässt sich im Multiplayer noch weiter erhöhen. Die Grafik ist klasse und Fehler im Spiel sind mir bisher nicht aufgefallen.
Ich kann das Spiel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

The new game engine is great and technically takes the game to a new level. The community and expandability using mods and DLCs make it highly flexible and customizable. The fun of playing can be increased even further in multiplayer. The graphics are great and I haven't noticed any errors in the game so far.
I highly recommend the game.

Es ist ein sehr schönes und lustiges Spiel (ja es gibt zwar Micro-Transaktionen, diese sind aber nur kosmetisch und nicht aufdringlich). Das Spiel ist umfangreich, das Matchmaking ist schnell, die kompetetiven Einrankung auch meistens gerechtfertigt und das Crossplay ist sehr toll um mit ALLEN spielen zu können.

It is a very nice and fun game (yes there are micro transactions, but they are only cosmetic and not intrusive). The game is extensive, the matchmaking is fast, the competitive limitation is usually justified and the crossplay is very great to be able to play with EVERYONE.
