Interesting game for a while, but the balance is totally broken. Fully ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one might say.
I got a random event that without warning permanently increased the food and water consumption of my civilization by FIFTY percent. Within minutes there were bodies everywhere, because how are you supposed to scale up quickly enough to handle something like that? I already had dozens of water towers everywhere because they generate drinking water at a crawl. I would have needed every other building to be one if I wanted to keep up with this.
It also feels like instead of increasing the total amount of food/water each unit needs, they increased the drain rate, because every action was constantly being interrupted by needing to eat or drink.
There was nothing I could do to reverse or counter this change, it was just over.

3/10 - Fun for a while but ultimately the game isn't under your control, so don't bother.

It's pretty good.
