I first bought this game a little while after it came out, and i played a few hours then just lost interest. Recently i decided to start playing games in my library that i've forgotten about.
I came to learn that this game is such a gem, and if you like RPG horror games i really recommend this game to you. It's one of those games that will have you jumping when you least expect it, and it has a great story to go along with all the scares. It's also really immersive. The whole time i thought i was in space and forgot i was in my room. I usually do pros and cons in my game reviews, but there's really nothing bad to say about this game.
Some people say the ending was a let down, but i don't really see it like that. The only let down is that it's been two years and there's no sequel.

Let me just say, you'll probably never play another over the top horror game as good as this one. This game is very immersive. Every noise and sound you hear will leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what's crawling in the dark. When they say this game is unforgiving, they are not lying. I did need some help from people in certain parts of the game because it can be difficult. I really don't understand how people can beat this on hardmode, or even nightmare mode. This game is very challenging and has some good trial and error. I played through the game on hard 3 times and never made it to chapter 2 until i decided to switch over to normal mode. All in all, if you like horror games, buy this one, and don't let it 'scare' you away because it's an over the top indie game.

Pros:

- Scary
- Lots of stuff to do and places to explore
- Everytime you start over the map is dynamic
- Different hideouts
- Different kinds of enemies
- Lots of events
- Great music for it's genre
- intense sounds
- Great artwork

Cons:

- Events happen at night, but the game tells you to stay inside to stay alive and safe, so you may miss out on some things.
- Tons of items that you will never use
- It can be repetitve
- Enemies are very hard
- Where's Darkwood 2?

Overall I'm not a fan of platformers, except for the good old sonic and the old sega games. This game is pretty boring and easy. I would say it's more a game for children, not to mention it's really depressing.

This game was fun to a certain extent, but towards the end of the game there was some sort of bug after i did the pilot quest. Kovack told me where his boat was so i could escape, but it was never highlighted on the map for some reason, so i didn't know what to do. I only played the single player version of the game never any co-ops online or anything. I don't even know if there is anyone online i could have been matched with.

Pros:
- Lots of gore
- Lots of moves to kill the enemy
- Decent graphics for an over the top game
- Plenty of different weapons and things you can make
- Nice music for different events

Cons:
- The monsters at night still attack you even with the light on them
- Not enough inventory space
- The saving system is broke and can screw you over with checkponts
- Some enemies are way to OP for example the zombie deer.
- Horrible saving system. Wipe out a while area of zombies only for them to return 5 minutes later
- Bugs

I'm kind of on the fence whether to recommend this game or not, but i did have a bit of fun playing it so i will give it a thumbs up. There are a few things i did like and some things i didn't like about this game. It all depends on what type of games you like, but this one had a futuristic type of gameplay to it. it kind of reminded me of the fallout genre except fallout was way better. I will run through the pros and cons of the game below.

Pros:

- Plenty of missions and stuff to do.
- Tons of guns to choose from.
- Big map/areas
- Graphics are unique and look decent.
- Many different kind of enemies.

Cons:

- Way too much ammo laying around.
- The saving system is horrible. You kill enemies and they all return to the same area.
- Enemies that are the same level as you are way too powerful.
- You can get stuck in lots of places on the map.
- This game has some of the worst bullet reg i've ever seen.
- The ending is a let down.

This game is not for everyone, that's for sure. definitely not my cup of tea. Very slow and tedious gameplay.

Pretty fun game. It's like dungeons and dragons in the future as one of my friends told me, and it's true.

I've plugged in hundreds of hours into this game and have had it since release, so at this point i can give it a fair review. I don't know why this game has so many negitive reviews. Also, if anyone ever tells you that Fornite is better than PUBG they probably wear a skirt, I'll just throw that out there. It all started with H1Z1 and this was really big when it was released and took KOK's fan base. This game was the second biggest battle royale game released, but then overtook H1Z1 and became number 1 on the charts. It's really fun and action packed. It also takes some amount of skill. Now even though i don't agree with some things the devs have done with this game, It still doesn't take away from the fact that this is a good game. One of the biggest problems with this game more so in the past is the hackers. This games playerbase kind of died out, and maybe that's why there's not as many hackers, but it used to be very bad. Overall not a bad game.

Pros:

- Fun with friends or by yourself
- Two large maps
- Character customization
- Intense gunfights
- Realistic
- Plenty of buildings
- You can vault many different ways

Cons:

- Games was fully released too soon
- Hackers ruined this game
- FPS can be bad
- Could be more guns
- Toxic community
- Region lock?

The reviews say "fix bugs", but alpha is the stage of development to add content, and to only fix gamebreaking bugs.. which they have not done.

I have 2800 hours in Dayz and i can say that this game runs better in Alpha than Dayz and has less bugs, and it is a fun game.

My only problem is they should be adding more content.

When you first start playing this game, it's really fun especially with friends. The building of bases and running from the monsters in the forest gives you a little scare. I really liked the cencept, but it just lacks the content to keep my attention after a while. I know the games in EA, but i fear that even when the game is done it will still be very repetitive game-play. How long are you going to build forts and fight off tribal enemies in the forest for? This is why i can't recommend this game.
