My #1 favorite game. You'll never play a game so similar to a nature documentary. I love just watching all the creatures do their own things and interact with each other. The creature AI in this game is super neat.

Difficulty wise it can be challenging. Slugcat doesn't move like most games would have you expect, and it's very physics based. There's also a lot of little nuances and ways to move around that aren't explicitly explained to you and you discover on your own. The first playthrough can be very brutal as it does take awhile to learn creature behavior and the maps. It takes a couple hours to really start to "get" the game and that will definitely turn some people off.

However if you do persist and push on this game is so amazing. Once you learn how to control slugcat you can really zoom and glide through the maps and run circles around the lizards. You shift your mindset to that of a slugcat, and move like you think a slugcat would. It really adds to the nature documentary experience.
