It's okay. Here's the thing - in a vacuum, it's fine. It certainly does what it says on the tin. I'll give it credit for having good settings; I particularly liked the ability to set the colour of the levels.

But when there are other hidden cat games with bigger maps, better art, stories (even if they're fairly simple) and more features/mechanics, it's hard to recommend very strongly. If you're going on a spree of playing these hidden cat games, definitely start with these ones so you'll be less disappointed.

Replayability is not something I'm looking for in a game like this, so I didn't really care for that. I'm not out here remembering where all the cats are hidden. If I'm going to replay a hidden object game it's gonna be long enough from now that I don't remember where anything is.

There are only 9 maps, and I had to play through them around 4.5 times to get all the achievements. I was pretty ready to be done with the game at that point. It took me 15-20 minutes to run through it the first time, another 10 minutes the second time, and another 20 to get the final achievements. I would not have replayed it beyond that first ~20 minutes were it not for a desire to get all the achievements.

Still, for the price it's okay. I'm sure lots of people will enjoy it more than I did.

A lovely little game! I love the charming pixel graphics (Pierre has a great style) and the gameplay is fun. I would have appreciated volume sliders instead of toggles, and the game going through the intro/logo screen each time you win a run is a bit obnoxious when you're doing several runs in a row. Otherwise, no complaints.

A precious little game! I wasn't sure about it but the positive reviews and sale price convinced me to give it a try. It's slightly more complex than I expected because each puzzle piece can either be scaled, panned or rotated but every puzzle has a mix of those for each piece, though just one per piece (I expected each puzzle to keep to one movement option for some reason, thus being more simplified). I'm someone who doesn't usually pay attention to what a puzzle looks like when it's finished, as long as there are lots of them and they're all different, but I quite enjoyed the cute graphics and models in this. The environments are animated and each have their own sound effects which is quite charming. The music is nice as well and didn't feel repetitive. The puzzles don't require 100% accuracy but they didn't feel too forgiving - right in the sweet spot. Snapping in that final piece is very satisfying. A very cozy, relaxing and calming game that I very much enjoyed my time with. I finished the main game and immediately bought both DLC.

I didn't get much out of the gachapon feature; a regular level select would have been just as effective and less cumbersome, but some people seem to enjoy it so I'm not complaining. The controls (very simple and can be played with just a mouse) can be a bit finicky at first because depending on how you have the puzzle object rotated, you may need to move the mouse left in order to move a piece to the right, which can be unintuitive. You do get the hang of it though. I think my biggest (very minor) annoyance was how finicky it was to rotate the stand that holds the gacha balls; I kept misclicking and opening a ball. It also takes several click and drags to turn it to the far side. I completely missed one of the features (the one on the ceiling) until after I'd finished the base game. Not a big deal especially for me, just make sure you fully explore the room if you want to see every feature.

It took me 3 hours to finish the base game and another hour to finish both DLC. I feel I moved pretty quick though.

A good solitaire game, with a cute little story and a fair amount of challenge on the hard difficulty.

I quite enjoyed this! The art is great, as is the music, though it gets really repetitive if you're doing lots of puzzles in a row. I wake up humming the music in the mornings. It's gonna take me at least a week to get it out of my head :P

The puzzles were nicely challenging, and all were solvable without guessing. I do agree with the reviewer saying the puzzles are designed more for difficulty than aesthetics, but as someone who barely looks at what image the puzzle is making, it wasn't a huge issue for me. I'm *here* for the difficulty.

My time played was what it took me to 100% the game, including the bonus puzzles. Minus 15 minutes max for pausing/downtime. I'm quite fast at picross though, so your mileage may vary.

The story wasn't groundbreaking, but it was a pleasant rest in between puzzles. I would play a sequel if they made one! (colour picross anyone?!)

I love everything about this game. The gameplay, the story, the graphics, the music.. All are superb. Worth every penny, and I may buy it a second time just to give Lucas more money. He's earned it.

Great game, but the difficulty level is KILLING me. Easy is way too easy, but no matter what I do I can't beat normal. I'm getting increasingly frustrated and not sure how much longer I'll be playing. Might not be an issue for you if you're better at video games than I am :(

If you're at all a fan of Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, or other similar games, you will love Stardew Valley. At it's core a better Harvest Moon for the PC, it greatly improves on a lot of aspects and adds in some really fun mechanics. I've put more hours into this in a week than I have any individual Harvest Moon game (of which I've owned several) in a lifetime. Admittedly, I much prefer the PC over consoles and handhelds, so that does effect my playtime - but it goes way beyond that. It's just a good game, made by a good developer (yes, ONE guy made the whole game!). In the week after release he's already released 4 bug fixing patches.

Don't listen to anyone complaining about the fishing mechanic - it takes persistence to get good at it but it DOES get easier as you level up, and it's fun and challenging! It's the best fishing mechanic I've seen in any game I've played that has one. The run speed and length of day are fine, too. You get multiple ways to speed up, and I find the day length perfectly balanced - sometimes I go to bed early, sometimes I'm up all night, but I'm never frustrated with how much time I have. It feels perfect.

I am so excited the long wait for this is over and that all the hype paid off. Potentially one of the most accurately hyped games ever. I can't wait to follow this game's journey as it grows!

It's not bad. I've played many horse games over the years, and this is one of the best. That said, even the best wasn't that great. It might just be that I'm picky, though. It IS the best horse game currently on Steam, in my opinion.

Note that this review is from the POV of an equestrian, and is probably best targeted at someone similar. This is mostly me being picky.

Things I like:

- I like that you can lead your horse. It takes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever, but I recently realized I could speed up the game (hotkey 1 to speed up/slow down) while leading my horse or doing other similarly slow tasks to speed them up.
- I like the upgrades to the facilities even though it's slightly linear as to what you can do, and when
- I like the animations, which are very good compared to many other games with horses in (though not necessarily horse games)
- I like the riding activity. I've only got the first field unlocked, but it's nice, and I like that there are bonus points scattered around for you to find.

Things I don't like:

- You can tell whoever they hired is not totally on the up-and-up on all things horses. This list is primarily going to revolve around that.
- Lunging foals that look like they haven't even been weaned? And on tiny circles? If you did that in real life you'd have a broke-ass (and not in the good way) horse within a year. Their joints would just disintegrate (not a technical term) with the stress.
- There are only three breeds. Hanoverian, Friesian and Andalusian. Not bad breeds, but who the hell's idea was it to put Friesians in the game? Friesians only come in solid black, in reality. It's kind of their thing. In this game, they can come in any damn colour. NO. NOT RIGHT. WRONG. D: Hanoverians and Andalusians do not come in cream, either. Totally inaccurate. Not even close. They could have improved the realism tenfold just by adding a few more breeds, making them actually look like those breeds, and STICKING TO REALITY. Having a gray (white), palomino or spotty Friesian is the equivalent of having a purple polkadotted pony. It's not possible.
- Only being able to gallop over jumps, when in reality you want to NOT speed over jumps, usually. That's how you break legs.
- Lack of show jumping or dressage. The best horse game I ever played incorporated all three branches of eventing. Sadly, it lacked in other areas. I have yet to find one that hits every note.
