Really captivating through its world building and story-telling. If you are a fan of visual novels can read. You should definitely give this a shot. The soundtrack is stellar as well as the sound design. The art-style looks gorgeous and some of the set pieces, combined with the splendid camera work, is a master-class worth of good narrative level design. Easily one of the best storytelling games I have ever played.

Gameplay is considered to be in the light side, to be expected due to the focus in narrative but the mechanics served as a great medium for intermittent story-telling and world-building. The core gameplay is managing your resources to allow you to travel between star-systems so you can collect parts to upgrade your ship so you can progress through soft-progression walls to continue with the story. Its engaging enough to keep you interested to want to explore more but don't expect a challenge.

Technical-wise, it runs great but there is a default fps lock that caps it to 30 fps (to help with motion sickness with some players). You can turn it off if you want. There is also no anti-aliasing options in the game, which is a shame as this game is sooo screenshot worthy.

If you are a fan of puzzle games, the Turning Test walks a familiar yet engaging line. What makes it interesting however is how they introduce genuinely fresh ideas towards the second half of the game. The writing of the game poses questions about free will and what is means to possess the human element.

However, the game is quite short with around 70 rooms + 6 optionals worth of puzzles; which you can finish in two sittings (which I have). The game combines familiar mechanics in interesting and varied arrangements but I would have liked if they would really pushed its ideas' more. All in all,it left a good lasting impression on me and made me want more.

Offworld Trading Company brands itself as an economic RTS, where guns and swords are opt for the ruthlessness of capitalism as you and other venture capitalists seek to sway Mars' market forces to your own benefit. You exploit your opponents by examining their production and either capitalise on their needs for a pretty penny; or disrupt their bottom line through a variety of offensive tactics. Manipulating numbers is the name of the game; it might not be for everyone but if you like the economy building aspect of RTS games, this game will scratch that itch.

This game is both a treat to watch and also to play. The wheel-spinning , which is the core gimmick of the game-play, adds an bold quality that really complements the EDM genre which its 23 track roster (during early access) revolves around; creating a kinesthetic quality akin to playing an instrument. Be warned though, there is a steep learning curve in getting used to the gameplay; Normal is quite tough as it is.
