Hi, Review from an actual Fallout76 player here.
Most of my playtime is from the XboxOneX version, i've been playing from the very first stress test, the B.E.T.A. and I was part of the PTS on PC.
I play and upload content pretty much every day to Twitter, just search ZeroFoxFK with the Hashtag Fallout76 and you'll see countless screenshots.
The game is good, it actually always was.
It just wasn't the 'Fallout5' some hardcore fans hyped it up to be.
Bethesda tried something new, a Fallout game where every person you meet is another player.
A big Fallout themed playground for you and your friends to roleplay in and have adventures.
For me, this was perfect. This is what was exactly was missing from Fallout 4. I used to spend ages building settlements only to be disappointed because my friends couldn't join. Now they can.
Then I discovered Photomode! This is a fantastic new feature and makes it literally impossible for me to go back to the older games because I find myself wanting to use it.
The game had a rough original launch, they always said it would be rough and that there would be bugs.
There was also some questionable marketing outside the game BUT the game itself has had considerable updates since 2018. Many of the people saying the game sucks and that it has bugs are dragging their 'constructive criticism' from that original launch.
The game as it is now "Wastelanders" is great!
The team have worked extremely hard to change the direction of this game completely.
Adding human NPCs, not because the game was unfinished... but because that wasn't the original direction.
They've done an amazing job and it's not even the end, not by a long shot.
If you've been holding back on joining this community (the positive one) then now is the time.

People will never understand how awesome and amazing this is until they own it themselves.. I love this so much.
It works so well. Now my PC feels 'futuristic'. The screenshots on the marketsplace really don't do this justice... they are rubbish. There are so many community made Wallpapers to choose from and from many different games and genres. Some are subtle while others have interactive elements and react to audio.
I have seen no performance impact from having this running.
Get it, it doesn't cost much and you'll get so much satisfaction out of it.

Had this game since day one. It's amazing and always being worked on. Get it.
