BrokenLore: LOW is an indie horror game and the first full release from Serafini Productions. The story follows Naomi, an aspiring pop star, who travels to a beautiful Japanese village to launch her music career. Instead, she finds herself entangled in the village’s cursed secrets. As the game progresses, both the story and atmosphere grow increasingly intense.

Graphics
The visuals are impressive, with most of the game featuring hyper-realistic graphics that draw you into the unsettling atmosphere. However, there’s a distinct section that shifts to a low-poly style, adding a unique contrast that enhances the tension and keeps the experience feeling fresh and unpredictable.

Performance
The hyper-realistic segments pushed my Nvidia 3070 and AMD 5900x to their limits, maxing out the CPU across all cores and threads. Despite this, the game ran surprisingly well for a day-one release. With a few patches, I think the performance could be even better.
UPDATE - as of 2/22/2025 there was a patch and the CPU usage for me decreased 15-20%. This has been address now.

Final Thoughts
At its current price point, this game is absolutely worth picking up. If you’re a horror fan, BrokenLore: LOW is definitely for you.

The Axis Unseen is an amazing game with an amazing soundtrack! I am having so much fun getting lost in this world. The map is huge, I love the graphics, i like the creature designs and the game rewards you for exploring! The game was created by a solo dev and they have done an amazing job! i cant wait to see what his next game will be.

It had a little story even if it was a little basic and short but a fun little game overall being its free.

Reveil had some great story telling and an amazing twist. highly recommend checking this one out!

This game is wonderfully broken. For $2 its everything i expected and more! I went in to just shock and awe my friends with a discord stream however we laughed, we cried, game crashed, we lived, we died and had a great time!

Got chased by a sticky Bukkake demogorgon.

Deus Ex HR left wondering what to play next. Nothing seemed to fill the void that MD left after beating it. I originally bought MD on the ps4 so I grabbed it on sale on steam and played it again! Amazing story. Amazing graphics.

Other then the level DLCs I will not be spending anymore on this game.

Its a nice take on the post apocalyptic. Sometime the up and down climbing can push you to the left or right THAT was annoying. As i got further into the game, the stutter got worse which made aiming a pain sometimes!

Controls were fine and good
Graphics were good
Story was good (nothing special but it wasnt bad)

OVERALL
I found it to be a solid survival game that, above anything else, kept my palms sweaty and my muscles tense.
