Early Access Review
I'm not usually a big fan of rhythm games, much less writing reviews for it. But this one takes the cake and I have to make an exception.

The basic gameplay premise is simple enough, just a single button to press at the right time. But the devs have packaged the it very nicely with great music and nice heartwarming background story.

And the distraction mechanics, man. It is SO GOOD! It adds to the game without feeling unfair.

This game has 98% positive rating at the time of this writing and it is well earned.

Bonus points for the game, it plays great on a Steam Deck and is a good match for the device, the levels aren't too long so you can sneak in a level or two when you're idle.

If you want to play it online, do NOT buy this game.
Servers are a hot mess right now, and even when it was working it was laggy even with ~20 ping.
People are even losing their characters/items.

The Devs had a long time to smooth out the bugs in Early Access, but they opted to had a majorly different game in Early Access and pretty much of the full release is untested so it's a buggy mess.
Many other gameplay stuff is also different.
Even picking up and selling items is buggy right now in release, but it was fine in Early Access.

I felt like I had been bait-and-switched with their Early Access.

if you want to play this game in single player only and offline, sure go ahead and buy it.
But if you want to play with friends, do NOT buy it now. Wait and see, probably return in a months or so.

EDIT:
So I tried to barrel through my way with Wolcen since I love ARPGs and this game looked as if it has potential.

At 84 hours in, I am giving up.
Those hours were among some of the most frustrating experience I have ever had in a game.

Having to reset my whole build because of passive tree nodes that weren't working well or even weren't working at all.

Losing progress on an expedition because of server disconnects. Especially painful when you have just killed the third and final boss of the expedition.

Losing gold because the devs decided to reset the gold dupe and legit players got hit as collateral damage.

If you're thinking about buying this game, DON'T!
Or at least wait for a 50% off sale. Won't be long.

When you have a game that allows you to have some fun even when you're getting your ass kicked, you know you have a gem in your hand.
Best fighting game yet.

Early Access Review
One day, I ran out of plastic
No plastic means no Advanced Red Circuit
Most High-tech items uses the Red Circuit, so almost all of my High-Tech factories grounded to a halt

Plastic is made from Petroleum, and Petroleum is refined from Crude Oil
Crude Oil is found in faraway lands, heavily infested with foreign, alien life

So I need Crude Oil by the barrels, what should I do?

I made myself a Tank, loaded it full with Cannons, Machine Guns, and Flamethrower
I invaded the aliens and 'liberated' them of their oil fields

For a moment, I felt like I was the President of the USA
Those aliens were lucky there aren't any fighter jets & cruise missiles in the game

10/10 would liberate the aliens again

The one game I bought (cheap!) that exceeded any expectation
