one of the worst things i've ever played in my LIFE. Gets shot = leg broken, sniper AI = wall hacks + aim hacks. Lack of ammo 10/10. don't waste your time, would have been good if they implemented it right.

Do I recommend this game? Yes but...
I don't think this is a game worthy to cost us $60+ USD there are a ton of other great and better games for the same price or even much cheaper.

Update since completing game: One of the most underwhelming, boring stories, progression-less games i've ever played. Yes I still say it's a decent game to play but I would rather recommend Dragon Age Veilguard and that game was bad, but at least the story was a bit better and the combat as a rogue was fun. I also rather recommend Dragon's Dogma 2, combat so much fun, story was better than this and the world was alive compared to this game.

New rating: 5/10

TLDR: If your not sold on what you've seen just wait and play on Gamepass for $10 bucks, or if you hate gamepass wait for a half off or more sale. Current rating I'd say about a 6.5/10 for me.

The game is beautiful and simple, i get a lot of similar vibes in different aspect comparing to game such as Dragon Age Veilguard, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Skyrim, Fallout, New World and Dragon's Dogma 2.

Combat is simple, fun enough that it eventually can feel a lack of progression.
Main gripe about the enemies being what other say are "spongey" is that it's hard to understand what level enemies are so i don't need to spend a TON of time fighting useless fights. The indications don't work often or hard to tell when an enemy is about to one tap you from behind.

Story: Not really sure what to think yet but begining is very much like New World, like nearly identical plot and weirdness. Is it a great story? I don't know, it's enough to not make me want to quit the game. I enjoyed Dragon's Dogma 2 even though the story was quite barebones but the combat and side quests is what helped me enjoy the game, may be the same for this.

Dialogues and NPCs: Dialogues are not terrible but weird and cringe, literally have the option to wink and flirt with everyone... side quests are okay, the game doesn't do justice of getting you into the world right away and is a slow start like dragon's dogma and new world.

World: The game just doesn't feel like it has life compared to a lot of other games but it's cool for what it is.

This game is a blast (for the military), strongly recommend playing this with your group of friends. Only annoyance is the in game voice echoes so much, i don't like that i hear myself talk all the time, but other players voices don't echo. The echo should just be removed in general.
Can't wait for more content!

Great addition to the series, definitely a game worth full price

Performance wise, I just changed my pc from intel to amd, i tested this game with my i9 14900kf and like all other games it barely got 60fps on max settings with a 3090 rtx gpu. I rebuilt pc with an AMD ryzen 7 98003xd and it runs on max nearly 100 frames (not consistent)

All the negative reviews are mainly due to users with 14th gen intel cpus, if you have a 14th gen intel cpu then yes you won't have a great time trying to run any game including this. To anyone who has a 14th gen intel, its not the games its the cpu and i'd recommend either trying to fight tooth and nail to get it RMA'd or just switching to AMD.

I play and enjoy a plethora of rougelikes, this game is okay at best, lots of characters already that don't feel really any different and aren't even that great. The claw sometimes just doesn't close to even attempt to grab (maybe this some mechanic to mimic real world scams). When you can get any good rewards the combos are kind of cool at best. Everything in the game costs so much and it's not possible to get much money so your runs are lackluster in terms of feeling like your getting stronger as you progress like every other roguelike. I think the game could be promising but I don't have much interest to continue to follow and hope it gets better. I feel like i've experienced enough in the hour played and will continue playing balatro.

Overall: Fun game, like every roguelike they have their pros and cons to some mechanics.

Recommend Game? Yes, like you can determine if you like the early access game or not in under 2 hours and it's a lot of fun.

Solo Experience: Fun and extremely challenging. The only downside playing solo is how some elites and bosses are overpowered for solo experience or their AI will unrealistically snap to you mid attack animation and hit you, idk why that is. I would like the loot rng to have a luck base system so you can get more drops or upgrades for your weapons and traits as well as trinkets. I have noticed for the passive traits if you have an ice or fire trinket it will tend to give your ice or fire traits which makes it hard to build what you want to test or play.

Multiplayer Experience: Extremely Fun. This game was made for mostly only multiplayer experience, being able to see what others get for loot, drops and trade gear or just drop it for them, making the building experience immensely more fun. Yes, the sudden death is brutal but the solo experience is even more brutal and it balances the pacing in equivalence. Do i like the sudden death? No. I think a system like Roboquest to share your health and pick them up would be much better so it's not bashing on the person who died first or the person who couldn't carry because they got hit once even though they have 600 HP and could have survived a hit. Yes the sudden death is more unique for rougelikes but the game is already unique enough that I think the game would be better for more players and getting more players if the sudden death was changed and maybe the solo player experience could be balanced as well so it's not as difficult (again if this game had a luck rate feature that would solve it).

Overall I think the game is pretty and it's combat is fun but compared to other DA games this isn't very good. The main things that stopped me from wanting to play more was the combat always stayed the same, you experienced everything from the first battle that the game has to offer. The dialogue is just awkward and poorly written, choices don't matter except a few that are story locked. The overall story is just a snooze fest. I think what they were trying to do for combat is in a good direction but just didn't hit the mark. Games to compare this to are of course BG3 but also Dragon's Dogma 2, their stories are very similar in terms of boring but DD2's combat is what kept me playing and exploring the world, trying new classes/weapons. If this game had that similar feature where you can change your weapon class (even with it's poor writing) it would have been a more enjoyable experience.

It's an EA game what did we expect.

After many hours of doing multiple content, I would recommend this game if you liked Warframe but couldn't keep up with it. Performance is okay, random 2 freeze frames and still bad server latency. Also Colossi on hard mode typically requires a full premade party or to solo because people don't understand mechanics and don't use voip or read chat except to say DAMAGE CHECK it wasn't my fault!.
