The core game is fantastic and feels like a true return to form for the series while still feeling modern and fresh. Only glaring issue is the Battle Pass XP system which needs a complete overhaul. Still leaving a positive review as I'm a Halo shill and just happy to be playing a good Halo game after so long.

Most of my playtime is on the Xbox One version. I have been playing since release and while this game launched in an ungodly state, it is now one of the best packages available in gaming, for one of the best franchises of all time. Ever.

It's Halo. Buy it.
