I've replayed this game numerous times. It's awesome. I don't recommend games on here often, but this is a game worth your money, especially considering it's only 10 bucks.

I bought this game in early access, and imo it's worse now than it was before. The devs seemingly focused on the horrible story and related assets rather than improving the game itself. They've barely added any actual content to the game since early access (radiation, AI cores that annoy the ♥♥♥♥ out of you, collecting misc. items to repair a ship, minor variations on the same ship, a nonsense habitat simulation) and seemingly chose not to focus on the actual main premise of the game, the ships and tools used to salvage them. They've added no new tools, outside of demo charges added in the very beginning of early access.

The game actively prevents you from playing it at times, as you're forced to LISTEN (not a cutscene) about some other rookie constantly complaining about the company, work, capitalism, etc. that goes on for many minutes at time, during which you can not skip through the dialogue, and you can not do anything else other than wait. The devs have seemingly abandoned the actual mechanics of the game in order to shove their political beliefs into the story. I finally ALT-F4'd when I was trying to disassemble this ship, only for said character to start losing her ♥♥♥♥ at another character, and you can't mute it, you can't skip it, it goes on for minutes. When I finally tried to play it again, I had to sit through the same dialogue and I just can't recommend this. It's awful. There's another scene where the same character starts insisting you start a union against them (this is literally your second or third shift) and when the company finds out and is pissed, my brain goes "why am I supposed to like this girl? She's actively ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over, I just wanna break these ships!" Why didn't they develop the game, instead of some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story?

Here's a list of everything they've added since the beginning of Early Access (I'm not including bug-fixes and QoL improvements because that's a given)

- 2 ships (for a total of 4 different ship types)
- Demo charges
- Thruster variations
- Radiation hazards
- AI cores messing with the ship
- Story (This has been 90% of where the effort has been directed)
- Component harvesting mini-game
- Fully-modeled hab module (I wish they would undo this, it's an over-glorified, obfuscated menu)

That's it. They've barely changed the actual gameplay loop since the initial release two years ago. It's not worth it.

One of the absolute best campaigns I've played. Quite short, but impactful.
