Truly a gem

Being roped into playing this with some friends, best bad choice of my life.

If you have thought about getting the game, then stop thinking about it and actually buy it. You won't regret it. While a bit daunting at first, when you suddenly are thrown head first into a game. Everything comes over time, much like any other games.

And playing with friends make it even better. If a friend owns all the DLC's and hosts a game, you get access to them as well. Opening up to so much more.

Despite the short game and lacking story in my opinion, this game is definetly worth buying. Every mission is fun in its own way, but the bosses are definetly the strongest selling point. Each boss is a new way to fight, a new foe and most importantly. A new soundtrack. If there is something this game does right, its the music making you feel like a badass slicing and dicing your way through enemies.

At this point, with my 13 hours on steam, it can't represent all the hours I have spent with the CD game. To this day, it's one of the few games I haven't completed, it's simply too hard for me late game... And I LOVE IT.

It was one of the first Strategy games that I played, which got me into the whole genre.

The game starts off pretty manageable, but slowly turns up the volume. It gets harder and harder, sadly to a point where 'I' can't keep up. But every little bit makes me closer, trying new strategies. New combo's of units. What if I did this instead of that?

Should you buy it? Yes.
Even if it's not on sale? Yes.
