This is one of the few video games that I find myself wishing had a board/cardgame version. Highly recommended.

The digital edition of Scythe is a great interpretation of the core board game. The recent addition of the Invaders From Afar DLC is a welcome one. Here's hoping we soon get the Wind Gambit and Rise of Fenris DLC as well. (The modular board could also be quite an addition.)

Absolutely indispensable these days. I have played a bunch of great solo games and a ton of Twilight Imperium 4th Edition. It's exposed me to way more great games than I'd ever get to experience otherwise.

Absolutely recommended.

UPDATE 11/23: TTS is still the best tabletop experience out there with the widest number of games available, though BoardGameArena is catching up and the lack of active rules-enforcement on TTS is a downside at this time.

Faster, meaner, more brutal, and yes, even less safe-for-work/safe-for-life than the first one.

It's as if several thousand Agricola players with really filthy mouths took great pleasure in making your day as miserable as possible.


Realistic, yes. Fun? Not so much.

Now that Psyonix/Epic have decided to actively spurn Mac and Linux RL players, I have to switch my review from a positive one to a negative one. My primary gaming platform is Mac (I don't even have a Windows PC), so this comes as something of a gut punch.

Absolutely unconscionable.

Old-school wonderful. It's a little bit Simon's Quest, a little bit Mega Man, a little bit Duck Tales, a little bit Super Mario Bros. 3. Fantastically 8-bit.

Music: excellent. Writing: excellent. Punching guards: excellent.

This game is wonderful, front to back, though a little short.
