I love platformer games, and Blaite did not disappoint. This game is not a super elaborate mainstream platformer game, such as the likes of Celeste and others, but it is pretty fun nonetheless. I did find it quite annoying to hunt the last couple achievements I had remaining for the 100%, but despite that, my experience was quite pleasant. I'd definitely recommend it.

Adventure Capitalist is honestly one of the most cancerous games I have ever done 100% achievements on. The game per se is fine I guess, but if you want to complete it in a reasonable amount of time, you simply gotta grind it like a jobless bum, and you have to just be a fiend at every event.

I did not find this game fun at all to hunt achievements, or to progress through. At the beginning it did feel super fun, but after a while it stalls, and then it's just a waiting game. That is, unless you grind those events to get Megabucks and gold to speed up your playthrough.

honestly this game is everything. literally every aspect of webfishing is crafted specifically to create the coziest experience possible. the progression feels just right and as everyone pointed out, the animal-crossing like graphics make for the immaculate aesthetic.

i do wish that there was controller support in this game, as that would make it so i can have an even more laid back experience, but to be honest the lack thereof is not necessarily a downside.

i'd love to see more progression in future updates, such as having different islands that you can access, similarly to how it is in 'Dredge' and similar titles.

overall, this game is definitely in my top 5 all time comfort games, as it rekindled a feeling that i hadn't felt in almost a decade.

I honestly still don't know to this day why I hunted achievements for this game. It is pretty cute and silly though. Fun and quick playthrough, would definitely recommend.

A Dance of Fire and Ice is a rhythm game like no other. Sure, you have classics like Osu! and Etterna, but the dynamic of ADOFAI is rather unique and interesting. I love this game for a couple reasons, you can see how the game grew as you play and how out of the ordinary the mechanics are is simply outstanding to me. Often times you'd think that following a pattern on a rhythm game would be pretty straight-forward for the most part but that is not the case with ADOFAI. I have had multiple instances where I had to attempt a pattern multiple times to even fathom what was happening, and I've played rhythm games pretty much my entire life. The DLC is really great too, the levels are fun, and the visuals are a step above from those previously seen on the base game. Overall, A Dance of Fire and Ice is a spectacular rhythm game and a really worthy purchase. I definitely recommend this game!!
