I honestly played this only through the free weekend, and even if I had kept the game for free I don't think I'd come back to it apart from the occasional race when a real-life race is happening at a certan track. People compare it with F1 23 and say it's unchanged, but I'd go as far as to compare it with F1 2017 - a game which had some of the absolute legends of past cars driveable (and raceable vs AI/ other people) on some of the legendary no longer used tracks - this game has none of that. The graphics are basically the same as F1 2017, and the only change visually that is really noticeable is the UI. So in seven years, Codemasters was sold to EA and all we got is a barebones, lackluster version of what the game was seven years ago? This game has no soul - this becomes apparent the moment you start playing an F2 season in your career - weekend after weekend you have no interviews with the media, no chats with anyone, no e-mails from your agent, nothing - same radio messages, same thing weekend after weekend, a soul-less Groundhog-day a** experience that leaves you absolutely bored and burned out. The F2 car is an absolute pain to drive and there is honestly ZERO fun in the F2 season, but you push through hoping to get SOME sort of 'experience' out of this game. Then, when you finish your F2 season, you'd hope you'd get 'offers', or negotiations with teams - teams would express interest, talk with you, give you offers - nope. All F1 teams just popped up and the game let me choose one of them, then let me choose which teammate to keep. Like holy, my expectations were low, but this game is so soul-less it beat any expectations I had. I only did a couple of races from my F1 career, but it was basically the same - all I got was an offer from a team - as I had joined a midfield team, another midfield team invited me to a 'secret chat', I sat on the table, then stood up, then left the table, then got told the team appreciated me doing that, and that was it ?????????????? I don't even want to get into the ""customization"" of your character, which is quite possibly the worst in-game customization I've seen - European Truck Simulator type of character choice, along with some of the worst clothes you could possibly imagine. Congratulations EA, you spent seven years enshittifying this game, and you did it successfully.

Where do I even start? After accepting about as many agreements as real army soldiers do, the game started loading and then flashing some textures while loading. Then it crashed. After starting again, it told me that my name is unacceptable (it was 'bougiemane', I guess 'bougie' or 'man' is unacceptable now), and told me to change it. Except I couldn't. So I went to the website and managed to change it from there. Then I started the game and it made me accept everything again for some reason. And then it just started stuttering and not loading. Every time I verify in-game files I get told 14 game files were missing and will be reacquired. Every time I relaunch the game I need to reaccept all agreements and set up my brightness. And then I can't even access any sort of a menu because it starts playing a stuttering sound to a black foreground and nothing happens. So technically, I can't even review this game, because I never got to play it. Good job.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I'm saying this as I've finished a 10 hour bingeplay. I got this game yesterday and I already have 16 hours in it.
This review is for people like me, who never played a game like this before and are really not sure if this is for them or not.
Buy this game. Nomatter what your job is, nomatter what type of games you like. Just buy this game.
To start off, the game looks wonderfully, the pixel art doesn't feel too old and it plays quite smoothly. The soundtrack is probably one of the best things about this game and the songs manage to match the scenery perfectly.
As far as the gameplay goes, as a person who prefers singleplayer games over multiplayer, the only 'RPG' or game at all which I've played which has as much depth and as many things to do as this one is Skyrim. The game is set in a small town, but it's absolutely MASSIVE. 16 hours and I'm only halfway through season two of the FIRST year. There is an immense amount of things to do, from fishing to mining to socializing to farming there's everything you can imagine. I literally do more things in a game day than I do in a real life day.
There have been some complaints over the fishing minigame but it's really not that tough, Mining is where things get a bit 'pedal to the metal' and the game actually introduces fighting. Sadly, the fighting isn't perfect so you will probably take damage which isn't your fault, but my god can I ignore that for everything else...
Farming is a great way to relax. It doesn't take too much to do and it can be either a great passive or an immense active profit. Now, as far as farming and basically everything else in this game goes you will have to read up what other people wrote. The learning curve isn't steep, and it will probably only take you a couple of hours to get a hold of things, but a lot of things are either misteries or simply not explained so your wiki will be your most trustful companion.
That isn't helped by the fact that the dog/ cat is an absolute imbecile and keeps crashing into trees or barking to the void, but that's just being petty.
There's about another milion concepts in the game, one of which is socializing. Now I've listened to Wu Tang and since cash does rule everything around the game I've been too busy diversifying my bonds to do any socializing, but it's there and it's easier to understand than sims' "I like you and now I don't because of my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ C## RNG".
One part of socializing I did try out which I didn't really like is that giving people the best gift they'd want doesn't contribute to the 10 heart system you have with them, so it seems like you need to do multiple gifts in order for people to like you. Might just be me, but if someone gifts me a diamond I'd be pretty stoked.
The characters are there. You can play and completely ignore them (except selling them stuff). Being antisocial has never been this addictive.
The game also has a day/ night cycle. This effects things like fishing, but it also means you need sleep. Running out of energy by going too hard or staying up past 2 AM will make the game automatically pass you out, resulting in a money loss. Sleeping is also how the game saves, which isn't the best system but trust me, the days aren't as long as they seem once you need to water 150 plants.
Basically, Stardew Valley is one of my favourite games ever. It's a game which makes losing almost impossible while making winning feel incredibly rewarding. There is no time limit (except on sleeping), there is no enemies to attack you while you're sitting at home, your things won't automatically get destroyed by a baddie and you don't have to shoot the commies. If you want something different AND good, buy stardew valley.

Like ten times cheaper than minecraft with an absoloute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ more content than minecraft, so you're sure you don't have to install a 24 mod pack on your second day of it just so you don't die of boredom. Really nice game.

Game might lead to killing passengers on trains, especially if the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot had a pan in his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hand and had lifted it. That's what I told the judge, I don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ care that he was working as a cook, that pan was lifted way too high to be secure.
