Great gameplay
Awful story

It's been a while since I had so much fun with friends. This game is awesome to crap your pants. I hope more maps and features will be added but even so far it's an epic game!

The description of this game says it all."...arcade-style, city-based missions that keep Jimmy driving, shooting and rampaging through Empire Bay." In other words, it's a garbage DLC. You're literally just some random "badass" old man seeking revenge after escaping jail. That's all the story you get: one cutscene at the beginning, one at the very end, and the rest is just driving around from one mission pickup to the next, blowing up cars and shooting mobs. There's nothing else to do just that. Scores, leaderboards, and timed, lame, repetitive missions.

Oh, and did I mention the bug where you can't even play because you fall through the map after finishing the very first mission? I see no point in buying this DLC except to get the achievements, which, by the way, suck as well. This is a complete waste of time and money and has nothing to do with Mafia.

As an addition to the main game, it's an okay one, especially because it explains what happened when Vito went to jail. However, the story ends quickly and isn't very exciting. Since you progress by completing missions that you start by going to their markers around the map, it allows you to explore the open world, which, like the main game, lacks any meaningful activities. The missions are timed and scored, which is the worst part of this DLC. Overall, it's an experience that I don't think is worth your time or money.

I can truly say that this could have been an amazing game, just like the first one, if it had been completed as intended. What we have now is a well-written story that's chopped into chunks and fast-forwarded through short chapters. There's no free world, no activities, no nothing... What a shame.

That said, it's still a game worth playing because of its story, which captures the era and the mafia lifestyle very well. The characters are great, though the voice acting feels unnatural at times. The game runs smoothly, and the graphics are nice. In terms of controls and gameplay, it's fine, except for the bad physics when the character is mid-air. I've also encountered bugs, like being launched into the air by a streetlight and seeing cars randomly spawn and flip on the road. However, these issues are not game breaking and rare.

Grab it if it's on sale, but don't waste your money on the DLCs.

I’ve never played anything quite like this. It’s rare for a game to leave such a strong impression on me. I felt connected to every moment in the series. The story is well done, the style is unique, and the gameplay pulls you in. Props to Telltale Games and Skybound Entertainment for putting together such an amazing experience.

There's something special about this game. The atmosphere, the story, the soundtrack. Everything comes together so well and feels so grounded, so true to the real world and the soul. Playing this game was like watching the coolest action movie ever, where you are the protagonist and the only problem is that it's too short. A masterpiece.
