Gameplay is the best since Halo 3 and has the potential to be the best in the franchise. 343 have finally figured out what makes Halo Halo and is in the position to finally surpass Bungie. However, there are some things that stand in the way of that. Some really, really big things:

-Severly limited customization. 343 have taken what is in essence, Bungie's shader system in Destiny, and have some how made it even LESS in depth then in that game.

-Macrotransactions. Yeah you heard me. MACRO, not micro. The heads at 343 thought it would be a really good idea to sell the color blue for $7 USD in the store. $20 DOLLARS FOR WHITE (granted, it's as part of a bundle but that is the only way to get white on your armor as of the time of this review).

- Severe lack of playlist variety at launch. Barebones matchmaking playlists that are missing staple game modes like SWAT, Infection, Assault, etc. This isn't the first time 343 have launched a game without core modes. Halo 5 suffered from this same problem and it WILL come back to bite 343 in the ass if they don't do anything about it.

- And last but not least, a god awful progression system. 1000xp per level with the only way to acquire any significant amount of xp through asinine and tedious challenges that negatively affect the way people play the game. 50xp per match and that's ONLY because people made a stink about it (and it's STILL not enough).

Not gonna sugarcoat it, the game runs like poop.

With that being said though, I am about to finish my second playthrough and am very sad that I won't be able to experience this game for the first time anymore. By far one of the most enjoyable RPG experiences that I have had since Divinity Original Sin 2 and Disco Elysium came out.

Build diversity is insane and encourages multiple playthroughs. Cyberpunk also gets brownie points for making melee builds fun AND viable (Looking at you Fallout).

The story is very engaging and while Keanu Reeves isn't the best actor, Johnny Silverhand is without a doubt his best role in anything he has been in.

By this point you should know CDPR are experts when it comes to side quests and it shows in Cyberpunk. Characters are extremely well written and believable and the side plots are just as good as the Bloody Baron questline in Witcher 3.

Honestly if you are on the fence about the game because of bugs or performance, I'd say to wait until about February and then buy the game.

If you don't care about bugs or have experienced any Bethesda title at launch, then go ahead and buy this game RIGHT NOW. All that is really left is for DLC/Expansions to come out along with more bug fixes and optimization patches and this game can truly be put on the level of the original Deus Ex or Fallout New Vegas.

Bro its $40 for 6 good games (on sale for $25 at the time of writing this).

Since 2014 I've spent untold amounts of money on this game. I continue to do so willingly. The game is good, sure, but heed these words. Play at your own risk. Once you start, you may never want to stop.
