Early Access Review
I thought it couldn't be done. I thought I'd be sitting in a chest high wall waiting for my health to regenerate while my diverse cast of teammates explains to me that the enemies totally deserve to die because they don't support transgender bathrooms and that I'll only need to spend 346 more EABUCKS(tm) to have my gun do 0.005% more damage.

This game has none of that. The enemies are bad because they are bad. So you shoot them. No cutscenes, no lengthy dialogue explaining how you have to spread Democracy or fight Capitalism, just you and an every growing arsenal of guns that you use to shoot more enemies with. Some Enemies are tough. Movement is fluid, fast and fun like in the shooters of old. Sprites look good. There are secrets everywhere.

I thought it couldn't be done. But the madmen did it. They made a shooter that feels like a real shooter. I can dare to hope again. The future is bright.

This masterpiece has the honor of being the first game I have requested a refund for. The writing is akin to high school fanfiction, the characters are super cliche and seriously unlikeable and no matter how many times you tell yourself It's Going to Get Better Give It Time it simply doesn't. It's Fading Hearts levels of bad and if you don't know how damning that statement is then draw your conclusions from the fact that I went through the trouble of requesting a refund for a game I bought for about 5 bucks. It's bad. Really bad. Grace a more deserving game with your hard earned money.

Breaking a snowglobe? Getting revenge on the rich ♥♥♥♥♥ that has it out for you? Or even saving a poor bird from an early demise?

-This action will have consequences-

Whatever you choose, there will be consequences and the game plays this mechanic brilliantly, leaving you to wonder whether your choice was actually right, helpful or even detrimental to you or the people you are involved with. Combined with gorgeous graphics, masterfully crafted locations and characters and a wonderful soundtrack this is a game that you surely don't want to miss if you're even slightly into What-If scenarios.
