The gameplay and gunplay feels really good but there are several issues with the game right now that make me not wanna recommend this game. I'm not sure they will ever get fixed because of how systemic they feel.

1) The UI - The UI is legitimately terrible in almost every aspect except for the settings. The lead UX designer for MW2 was previously the head UX designer for Hulu, the streaming service and it shows in how similar their menus look and feel. The main menu is confusing and very visually noisy when you first load in, you have to scroll down to boot up the campaign. It doesn't compare to the the loadouts though, some genius thought it'd be great to only show 5-6 of your custom loadouts on the screen at once so you have to scroll horizontally to see the rest. Yea, you read that right, HORIZONTALLY.

It baffles me why they refuse to show us all 10 loadouts as it seems like such an easy choice. It's the same for weapon choices when customising loadouts, killstreaks and weapon camos. Genuinely infuriating and really dampers my desire to change my loadout as I know it'll be a massive pain to do so.

2) Perk balancing - UAV spam is insane in MW2 right now, more so than any other COD I've ever played. It's very accessible at 4 kills and is made worse by the fact that Ghost is an ultimate perk which takes 8 minutes to unlock. That means for 8 minutes, you or the enemy team have no protection from the legal mini-map hacks . Counter-UAV's are useless as they can just be shot down with half a dozen bullets of your normal gun, you don't need a launcher to kill them. It's also not reliable to keep shooting them down with launchers since you'll run out of rockets before they run out of UAV's and you're prone to being killed while locking on. Not to mention that Ghost is also unlocked at LVL 50-ish, so you're sh&t out of luck until then.

Bonus and ultimate perks in general are an interesting idea but were very poorly executed IMO. Being locked out of some perks for 8 minutes per match feels like they don't even exist sometimes and the way that they're bundled feels like a step back from how we've had in previous COD's
