Great game.
The plot isn't great (good enough for me though), but the characters are well-developed, their personalities are likable and the dialogue is funny (in a not corny way) too.

Graphics are nice, especially the animations. Another thing I noticed is that the facial expressions during gameplay is very nice too, which is what most games lack. Runs at 60 frames per seconds for me too, so, the port's good.

Voice acting's good, not much to say here.

Sound? Well, weapons sound a bit meh'ish, same as before, nothing much to say.

Definitely worth the price if you ask me.

when I last played it in 2013 it had a lack of content and was generally boring

now with the full release it still lacks content and is just as boring still

I couldn't recommend the game back then and I can't recommend it now for the same reasons

An interesting game with bad execution due to a low budget and inexperienced developers.

The game feels like a Source mod. (partially because it IS running on the Source engine)

The story itself is interesting, but at times I felt that the character dialogue was written by an amateur or a fan fic writer.

The UI is rather clunky at times and looks bad in some places due to bad usage of text color, text font and overall spacing. Not to mention, the game has received multiple updates and yet a certain bug (UI text not updating often) is not yet fixed.

Some weapon/power sounds feel unsatisfying and the voice acting is weak.
The use of stock Source engine sounds break immersion as well.

The mapping is horrible in certain areas, not to mention that some of the maps perform badly on a considerably high-end PC. (some might say that this is because the engine is outdated or that designing a large scale map in the Source engine is hard, but I beg to differ, as I've seen outstanding maps done in Source mods or by single mappers.)

The weapons are rather out of balance - at the start of the game, you have access to 2 weapons in most categories, and most categories have 1 COMPLETELY superior weapon to the other. Why bother adding 2 weapons if there are no trade-offs at all and you start out with 2 weapons in each category with one of them being completely superior to the other?
Not to mention the SMGs are COMPLETELY inferior to every other weapon in every single way.

The graphics are bad as well. The textures on some objects are low resolution, the bump maps on some weapons are bad and some world textures are not that pleasing for the eye either.
What I did like is the depth based depth of field shader (which I haven't seen in any Valve games) and the holographic sights, but even then, it's something you see in most modern games.

The game's difficulty is strange. The starting mission is easy as pie, yet the moment you get to play the first mission, you get your ♥♥♥♥ wrecked if you're not experienced at FPS games. (luckily that's not the case for me)
This game will NOT hold your hand. It's very brutal and unforgiving. If you're a CoD kiddie, don't expect to like this game.

The RPG elements, on the other hand, are nicely thought through and there are a lot of things to level up and unlock, which is very good.

The gun play is robust and satisfying, although it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying to die because of the good ol' Source engine's physics ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up by blocking your movement because you bumped into a prop and got stuck in it while you're getting shot at.

All in all, I'd give this game a 4.5/10. I'd say that this game is a flawed gem, and if it had a bigger budget and more developers, it'd be an amazing game.

Lastly, I have to admit that despite it's flaws I fell in love with this game.

10/10 rage inducer, would rage again
